Wales v Australia

Always thought Pocock was over rated but in this game he was immense, actually felt sorry for him his team lost.

Three minutes to go. Wales have a very, very kickable shot at goal. Dan Biggar hits it.
Wales 9 Aussie 6.
Anything from the post match news conferences?

I felt sorry for England but thankfully read some crap from the Walrus and sanity prevailed and I hated them again. Perhaps you should google some images of Michael Cheika ?

By any means.
Relatively easy misses would have given us a buffer, but may have messed with our focus.
Shaun Edwards is going to be missed.

Never in doubt!
Aussie did a Wales at the end though.
I thought that Anscombe had a decent game directing Wales around.

Yes he did OK.
Still want to see what Jarrod Evans can do.
Hopefully he'll start against Tonga.

This was pretty bizarre from Jonathon Davies-watch closely, he pulls Pocock's arm to his chest, then dives to the ground claiming he was pushed.
LOL any way to win, eh Wales?
#1905
#1978 haha, although that was justified due to constant Welsh lineout infringements being ignored by the ref....https://www.reddit.com/r/rugbyunion/comments/9vx2n8/did_jonathan_davies_take_a_dive_to_win_the_last/

Comedy Gold. Nice attempt.
Pocock clearly ran an obstructing / blocking line and in the process made contact and pushed Davies to the ground.
Fake News.
-
@mikethesnow He did run an obstructing line. However, Davies clearly dived, doing a Wollywood.

I yelled at the TV while watching the game live, it was an obvious obstruction.

If that's what is require to remove this cancer from the game, so what? What else is he supposed to do, fight to stay on his feet having been taken out of the defensive line? Fuck no - make it obvious Bono Cockwomble is cheating.

Recently, I think that if we want to remove this shit, we have to make the ruck a real contest again, so that forwards actually have to play like forwards, rather than fucking blockers and second man passers. The ridiculousness of halfbacks being a protected species is contributing to this problem (it of course is not the only reason), but I suspect that if we allowed forwards to attack the HB as soon as hands were on, we'd have a lot more forwards attending breakdowns.

And more space out wide.
Which would please Jiffy Davies.

For starters how about enforcing the binding law?
"Binding: Grasping another playerโs body firmly between the shoulders and the hips with the whole arm in contact from hand to shoulder. "
It's crazy that players can stand beside rucks and scrums with a finger touch and be considered bound. Make them bind or call them offside. Same goes at scrums where the openside flanker unbinds but only gets called for it if they let go.
