It can do (and others from memory) but in reality there is no terminus. Funny story, a guy I knew went up to London for the first time for an interview and got on the circle line going the wrong way round and though "Oh well, it's the Circle Line, it will get me there". Which of course it did just two hours late for the interview.

I decided to do less stuff on my devices and PC and more stuff in the "real world".
My son has become quite the little bballer so that takes a lot of my time. Im not on tinder or grindr like MN5 :face_with_stuck-out_tongue_winking_eye: my wife is still my wife....barely

We keep touching on it...but surely we need a dedicated tinder story thread on the fern. The topic sometimes comes up on Blokes Advice and its just hilarious

Fark, I was on it for only six months and could write a book. Bet you could make a Netflix series!

Feel free to start.
Those of us too scared to have a midlife crisis expect to be entertained...

Other than those mentioned, who was the NH poster that supported Northampton? Chris the Saint?? voyeurs was good for a yarn on Bball.
Back in the day there was only a handful that would talk league, can anyone remember the poster that had the warriors logo as his avatar? Was it Auckman?First stumbled on to the Fern after the Wayne Smith coaching saga. Didnât post, just lurked. Also read a bit in 2003 in the lead up to the RWC. However I didnât start posting until early 2005 after a chance meeting of another ferner at a rugby club in Canberra (@Mainlander).
I believe his son was posting for a while. Thatâs when you know youâre an old bugger. The Fern has gone intergenerational...
Muss Jnr.
Mainlander was one of those posters that transcended their handle and got renamed. Site visitors must have been puzzled about who this Muss fella was.
Muss and Mrs Muss came to ours to watch the âFog Finalâ. We spent most of the time outside drinking and occasionally peering in to see if the game was visible.@Crucial, that England test we watched at the Woden Greek club, I recall several other Ferners that rocked up too. Do you recall them?

The "Hellenic Poofball Club" (bloody Setanta!).
Yes, there were a couple of others but I can't recall their handles.
I do remember one that belted out the anthem tunelessly which startled the locals a bit.Considering word was spread only through the fern and a few from the High Commission and Defence Staff College we got quite a turnout and the greeks were happy with the bar take even if a little bemused.

I recall meeting @dingo at a pre-Xmas Ferners do in 2008. He had an interesting choice of shirt, if I remember correctly.
What was the year we had Xmas drinks? I'll always remember the year we met in the loo...
That same year, I think? We met at Four Kings, possibly? Or maybe the Establishment. That was a lot of nights ago. I managed to fall asleep on the train out to Ava (Lower Hutt), and woke up 6 stops later at Pomare & alighted without my wallet. Not ideal...
Oh yeah I was actually living in the UK then but was back in nz just before Xmas. Four Kings sounds about right, for some reason I think I have a vague recollection of electric avenue?
Anyway not as bad as my mate - went to the 7s at twickers, he lived in North London, got on a train and woke up in Brighton, after midnight.
I bet he still had his wallet though. I had to talk my way back onto the train which was returning from Upper Hutt, and began the painful process of replacing all my cards/IDs a week before Xmas.
It was handed in 3 months later at a branch of my bank with everything except for the $50 cash I had in there.

Circle Line does not complete a Circle, it just has a stupid name (unless you physically change platform and train)
However, the fun ride to be had in your sleep is the Northern Line -Charing Cross branch heading south. Will usually terminate at Kennington where those that are awake swap over the Bank branch and continue on...however, those that are asleep go for a ride on the unmapped loop that turns the train around and heads north again. You can hop on and 30 minutes later be back in the same place, confused as hell.

Had a couple of beers this afternoon with the Fern legend @Bullethole (aka Barnya), as he had made the stupid decision to come down to Wellington in March for a cricket test. He's well, a functioning member of society and has a lovely girlfriend. God, I hate what he's become.

@Smudge I'll be in town for a week in the middle of May if you want to feel better about yourself.
Could we not meet in a urinal this time?
Sorry I'm busy.
