Grant Robertson could probably sink the prime minister with what he knows about this sordid Labour Party sex scandal.
But surely if he has known more than the PM for much longer (than she claims to have known) this sticks to him too?
Bet St. C dont look as fresh faced these days as to the night she became PM.

According the news the alleged rapist is close friends with Robertson and helped organised his two failed leadership bids .
Sooner or later some chancer in the party is going to fancy they have a shot at the leadership if they do implode and is going to leak documents to the media .
Cunliffe must be enjoying watching this .

One thing I also find really sickening (and proof of a really, really shitty culture) are the quotes in the articles where someone has said something re that asshat's conduct, either to officials or senior staff etc, and got the response 'oh, that's just x being x'.
For anyone to say they didn't know is bullshit. Heaps did. And to permit behaviour that CLEARLY multiple people, men and women, had issue with, because of who the person was just makes it worse. -

This is a decent read , he touches on the cynicism behind the govt . It’s entirely possible that Ardern didn’t know the details if Robertson deliberately kept her out of the loop .
However , two summer camps with sexual assaults, Darren Hughes , bringing Willie Jackson into the party and a report in 2017 outlining Labour rape culture issue about which nothing was done? She must have known about those and yet nothing changed after last years summer camp .
I wonder how many teenagers are going to volunteer in the future or their woke parents are going to let them ?

although if true, it is just further evidence she is not a/the Leader, given all the rumours over this the past weeks/months, if Robertson knew and tried to hide/shield her, she is even more of a muppet for not pushing the issue with him or anyone else in Labour to get to the bottom of it.

@taniwharugby Difficult to keep that timeline if she was interviewed back in early August about it though. If she didn't know then, SURELY she would have asked hard questions and still been aware before this week.
-
@Mokey thats what I mean, even if Robertson or Haworth have tried to shield her by not giving her the story, she is incredibly stupid with all the rumours swirling to have realised they werent telling her the tru nature of the allegations.

Look incompetent and not in control or be complicit. Neither is a good look when you are meant to he running the country

This. You’d think she might have asked when she got back to the office “why are the interviewers asking me about sexual assault? What’s going on?” And if they lied to her face in response and she couldn’t tell she’s not much good to us in negotiation with the rest of the world.

I’m sure they’ve done a very good job of making sure there’s nothing digital or on paper that proves she was told . The trail must end somewhere though. My guess is Robertson., his mate has been working from home for five weeks and he never asked why?
Also let’s not forget about banning the victims from certain parts of parliament. That was a classy move . -

Shit article on many levels.- It was on the other side of the river.
- It probably growled because it was scared.
- It wasn't stalking them.
- Don't actually see the tiger in the video
- It says Gayford is 41. He isn't . He is 43 or 44 because he was in my year at Gisborne Intermediate.
- Weirdly, his Wikipedia also says he is 41.
- So does this Google link.
- It looks like I have uncovered the scandal of the century.

@jegga That polls a few weeks old. Hooton has been banging on about it for a while now. The next one is the interesting one. Esp preferred PM. I know NZ media don't do a lot of polling nowadays but surely they've worked out that this is a seismic crisis for Labour and taking the mood of the voters is a good move.
