I seriously need some sport as a diversion. Arguing about this shit isn't as much fun.
If the coaches had done their job and got Rieko and Akira Ioane fit and firing we would have won the RWC. There I said it.
WRONG THREAD, but totally.
not only that, but since we're having a pile on (to one of the finest coachs I've ever seen in Hansen), we should have had Luatua there filling the 6 jersey, and Piutau carving up from the back.
Fark, it's sliding doors isn't it. Better Blues environment, and maybe, just maybe, Faumauina, Piutau, Luatua, Toeavea play out their careers in NZ.

@Bovidae Hand sanitiser supply is being snaffled by the DHB's.
I am going to two supermarkets both are reasonably well stocked but one feels a lot safer. The other always has a queue and whilst the majority of people are well behaved the two occasions I have been there have been people who think nothing of stepping right in front of you to grab what they need off the shelves.
The staff at both though are very good - still smiling, friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately the feral one has the much better beer selection....
-
@dogmeat I have no problem with those in the frontline having first access to hand sanitiser. They need it.
My local experience is that New World and Countdown seem to have different methods to minimise community transmission. As I noted previously, New World has markings on the floor to remind customers to remain 2 m apart while when I was at Countdown a few days ago there was less people allowed into the store. I prefer the NW method but I would suggest they also include arrows so the flow of traffic down the aisles is only in one direction.
Anyway, off to the supermarket...

@Bovidae wife went to the 'local' Countdown this morning, was very busy, much busier than the much larger and better Pak'n'Save which is only about 4km further, where she does her usual big shop.
She said people are adhering to the rules, but then someone they know drives past, they go over, lean into the window to chat....goes in, buys them something, hands it to them through the window.
Its the little things like that, getting your bins in as well, wash hands immediately as the rubbish guys are touching bins from hundreds of households...
-
@taniwharugby I went to the supermarket but saw the length of the queue outside and drove back home. The biggest crowd outside I've seen, including the night of the lockdown. I will try again tonight as 12 pm obviously wasn't a good time.
Rubbish day here today but they aren't collecting recyclables during these 4 weeks so only bags go outside. We go to bins only in July though.

I just leave the recycling crates out for at least a day, no problems then

@Machpants Many councils around the country have suspended the collection of recycling.
Yeah. I checked whether ours would be collected the other day and it the Auckland council website said that their recycling is fully automated so they were still doing it. No one touches the bins normally.
-
I didnt watch our collection this morning, but all recycling went out as well as refuse,I know they have the ability to do it without touching the refuse bins, but often dont, they always wear gloves as well.
I took out some dettol wet wipes with me before bringing the bins in today.

The water is so crystal and flat, and warm, so much diving possibilities wasted! #firstworldcoastalproblems

Cindy is calling out 20-29 year olds. If they won't do it for themselves or everyone else, do it for them. 4 weeks detention in a government facility

The message needs to be that they could be responsible for killing their grandparents, or parents.
Or mates, much less chance but young people, with no underlying issues, are dying. Kids, teens, twenties.
