watched the 1st series of Breaking Bad, quite good, first few were ok, but got going and the final episode was classic!

I see they are mid way through the 2nd on C4, so will have to find it somewhere else!
Yeah have the 1st serries but only seen the first episode (on sons instance) liked it will watch it just need a few more hours in a day.

Burn notice also looks good, seen it a few times on TV, can't afford the time for a new show but again have the series and will get to it, hopefully.

Currently watching the new Doctor Who, Missed the beginning of Torchwood so will have to get it from the net.

Loved flash/fast forward (forget its name) but they've taken it off the air here so will again have to go to the net.

Started watching True blood, again on Son and wife’s recommendation, have the first 2 series but am only just up to episode 8.
Everyone at work is into this big after my portable disk with it on passed through work and was lost/stolen/borrowed so they could get it (and 102 GB of music).
Now they're all ahead of me and I have to stay away from the coffee machine as they discuss episodes I’m not up to yet. -
I enjoyed True Blood, bit raunchy (dont think there was an episode in the 1st 2 series where there wasnt someone having sex) the 2nd series got a bit tiresome about episode 8, but still good series, havent seen anything of a 3rd series yet??

Good to see you back Mainlander! -
I love Locke. He's been excellent throughout. He's normal, well mannered and kind hearted but is a tough hunter-gatherer when required. The type of person I'd latch on to, should I ever find myself stranded on an island. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

But isn't he scary as the `new' Locke? His eyes....pure evil. Love it!

I don't know how the two parallel worlds are going to come together but it's going to be fun finding out. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
He is scary. Very different from the Locke we knew. I don't know if he's all evil though. It's never that clear cut on Lost.

I don't think they are just showing us what would have happened if the plan hadn't crashed - I think it's different altogether. Things are different, for instance Hurley is actually lucky in this universe where as he was convinced he was cursed previously. I think the two timelines will merge by the end. -
I have just finished watching the first 2 series of Sons of Anarchy, very good. Bit like Sopranos as a motor bike club.
yeah I have a feeling that Locke is the key (haha) and he was meant to go to the Island so regardless of what has happened on that plane, ultimately, they will end up back there, especially when you take into account Desmond, who sat next to Jack in ep. 1 wasnt even on the plane....

I am guessing it will tie up somehow, how loose the knots are remains to be seen -

Is it only on topic if there's a dead Pakistani on your couch? What am I missing? -
why is there a dead pakistani on my couch is a quote out of Lost....but the fact that that is what it comes up with as the first line....I thought it was funny
Is it just me, or are the non Capricans on Caprica pretty much completely unsympathetic? The Torons are all blood-thirsty sociopaths, and the gemenons are relgious fantatic terrorists ...
It's taken us a couple of years but we finally agree on something BSG. It must be the beginning of the end of days ... -

I havn't seen series 2 yet, i can't wait. The first series was incredible. -

Been busy mate, thanks for the nomination.

Heard the second series concentrated on the brother more. He sure is built, Good old Vinnie, all that life guarding at Summers bay must have payed off.

Funny how they've got an Ozzie lad and Kiwi girl playing Southern Rebel brother and sister.

The two year old series Unherotic is currently doing the rounds around here and everyone raves about it. It's brilliant, even the wife liked it and she hates capes. -
HBO greenlights 'Game of Thrones'Nine episodes plus the pilot have been ordered

HBO has greenlighted highly anticipated fantasy series "Game of Thrones."

The premium network has picked up the project for a first-season debut next spring. Nine episodes plus the pilot have been ordered. Production will begin in Belfast this June.

The pickup comes on the heels of another HBO big ticket series order, for Terence Winter and Martin Scorsese's drama "Boardwalk Empire."

From the moment "Thrones" was first announced in development, the series based on the George R.R. Martin novels has generated enormous, perhaps unprecedented, online interest for a series at such an early stage.

The sprawling tale set in the mythical land of Westeros tells the story of the noble Stark family who become caught up in high court intrigue when patriarch Eddard (played by Sean Bean) becomes the king's new right-hand man. The four-and-counting books in the series would each be used as one season of the series.

Unlike many fantasy novels, the "Thrones" series largely avoids relying on magical elements and instead goes for brutal realism -- think "Sopranos" with swords. Martin, a former TV writer ("Beauty and the Beast"), writes each chapter as a cliffhanger, which should lend itself well to series translation. David Benioff and Dan Weiss are the series creators.
-
Think Soprano's with swords <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> Sean Bean hmmm
This has everything if they get it right but stand by to be hugely disappointed -
halfway through S2 of Breaking Bad and enjoying it, dark comedy, well written and acted.

Think he son is a superb actor.

Enjoying Flash Forward.

maybe a lost spoiler*********************

Over Lost already, the whole alternate world is peeing me off, not to mention the new people in this world (I dont recall Jack having a teen son) and then we have this whole new village of people...at least we are almost halfway through the last series! -
Not quite mate. There are 13 more eps to go... -
pretty sure it is only 16 episodes, and we are 5? in, so almost half way....
-
Lost season 6 has 16 episodes. But the first and last are 2 hour rather than 1 hour, so technically 18 episodes. My problem with Lost is I watched the show real time, and it's hard to remember events and small details that I saw six years ago. Which is key in Lost with all the subtle changes and details in flash sideways, backwards, forwards etc etc etc.

Pacific starts this Sunday on HBO. Can't wait.
Breaking Bad season 3 starts next Sunday. Looking forward to it too.

Anybody been watching Spartacus, Blood and Sand? A few friends have been talking about it, but I have not been watching.
