Oh.....good.
To be fair I never watched women's cricket anyway. Will probably give it a squiz though when a fat bloke in a wig starts dominating and folk cheer it on not daring to mention the emperor's bits on display.
What are "gender diverse players"?

@Rancid-Schnitzel fucken me now!!!
Play at the best grounds, free tea and lunches, training gear, coaching, mediocre bowling. Fuck yes. Where do I sign up and what do I have to tell them??
I knew my day would come, at 50 plus. God bless diversity
😁👍

I cannot for the life of me understand why sporting administrators are allowing and promoting this stuff. It’s absolutely bananas, I didn’t think it would keep happening at the top level.
CA is now blocking people on Twitter. Seriously if they were going to get support from anywhere you’d think it would be the crazies on Twitter, but even there they are getting ripped to shreds.
It’s a real shame, women’s sport has come a long way in the last 10-15 years. This is basically discrediting it.

How many people does this involve? Surely the number must be absolutely miniscule. What I find weird is that there's this insinuation that they need to compete or else their entire world will collapse.

I hate this part
Honestly can't stand this BS in sentencing.
In sentencing today, Judge Pickering also took into account Al Bayati arriving to Australia by boat as an Iraqi refugee a decade ago.
The court heard Al Bayati had gone through a number of traumatic incidents as a child including seeing someone be beheaded, almost dying on his way to Australia due to their sinking boat and being kidnapped by terrorists.
Oh you poor thing! You have had a rough time of it! No worries it's sorta ok you abduct a 3 year old from a playground and sexually gratify yourself. You certainly can't be held to the same level of morality as regular aussie citizens. You'll be out by her 6th birthday I'm sure all is fine...
Now the Sydney Morning Herald puts a different spin in it:
Judge Pickering outlined traumatic incidents in Al Bayati's childhood – including being kidnapped by terrorists, seeing someone beheaded, and having the boat to Australia almost sink – and said the offender clearly risked his future in Australia by committing the offence.
So what was it? Is a minimum of 2.5 years an easy sentence because of 'muh trauma' or is it a typical sentence and the judge was just making chit-chat?
The PM isn't taking any of this BS

It was enough for me to put a complaint in..fat lot of good that will do but jesus that is arguably illegal what they've done there. Wish the guy asking the question had at least one testicle and told this coven of extremist zealists just how incredibly deranged they are. And what the hell were the audience doing staying silent? So easy to see how extremism develops when so many are willing to be brainless sheep.

Hats off to the ABC for getting her to do the show from beyond the grave , at one point she mentioned she’d been raped and murdered. My condolences.

Q&A can’t stand it. I don’t care who’s on it, the way the show is managed by producers, host and audience is appalling.
Saw the clips of last Monday’s and it’s not the first time we have seen this. It’s no surprise that the ABC give these people a platform and the lack of a counter position - again unsurprising.
A review has been initiated, am I wishful thinking that someone is actually going to be taken to task for this. Or will it be one of those confirmation bias reviews...

i saw some reaction to this review.
Apparently its only the threat of violence against men that is investigated. What about the investigation in to teh systemic violence perpetrated by privileged white men against women every day? Why no review in to that? huh?!! The patriarchy lives.

Following the Banking Royal Commission, Westpac's CEO has fallen on his sword because of the 'serious and systemic' anti-money laundering breaches:
Westpac more generally failed to "carry out appropriate due diligence on customers sending money to the Philippines and South East Asia for known child exploitation risks," AUSTRAC alleged.
The anti-money laundering regulator is accusing Westpac of failing to report more than 19.5 million international funds transfer instructions to it over a period of five years, for money moving into and out of Australia.
I did like this cartoon:

I don't understand. Westpac didn't have time to monitor their transactions because they were too focussed on gays?
Classic journalism from the Oz, right there. Australian bankers have been pillaging the economy, now ignoring sex trafficking, but of course it's ACTUALLY the fault of the gays.
I hear they caused the bushfires too.

Not just gays . Bigots like you ignoring the guy on the right with a gimp suit on sicken me.

@barbarian @jegga
I thought it was pretty good. Don't think it seeks to blame anyone but the bank execs themselves. It is just pointing out that they have made some pretty big mistakes in their core business while they seek to promote themselves as perfect corporate citizens on moral issues.That said, I also didn't understand the significance of the dude in the gimp suit...
