Geeeeezus.
Ffs . I hope they don't end up with any of this stuff.
According to the Australian Government Department of Health, mumps is caused by the mumps virus and spread through contact with an infected person.
It can lead to inflammation of the brain (encephalitis), inflammation of the lining of the brain and spinal cord (meningitis), inflammation of the heart (myocarditis) and infertility.
"About 1 in 200 children with mumps will develop brain inflammation, which can be very serious. Mumps can also damage nerves, which can lead to deafness," the Department of Health website says.
"For women in the first three months of pregnancy, mumps can cause miscarriage."

Don’t panic, surely everyone was smart enough to vaccinate their kids? You get the mumps vacc as one of the M’s in MMR along with measles.
Surely? -
@Crucial proving they have been immunised could be difficult...?
-
Will the game isn't likely be called off? As a Chiefs fan I'd only want them to face the Brumbies' best side so there's no excuses.

The affected players are fringe squad players, not likely to be named in a 23 anyway. The Brumbies will be at full strength.
-
BTW Tony Pulu is off the injury list and a probable for the 23 - for the Brumbies (if you didn’t realise)
-
Brumbies
Tom Banks, Solomone Kata, Tevita Kuridrani, Irae Simone, Andy Muirhead, Noah Lolesio, Joe Powell, Pete Samu, Will Miller, Rob Valetini, Murray Douglas, Cadeyrn Neville, Allan Alaalatoa (c), Connal McInerney, James SlipperReserves: Lachlan Lonergan, Scott Sio, Tom Ross, Nick Frost, Lachlan McCaffrey, Ryan Lonergan, Bayley Kuenzle, Toni Pulu
Not that many changes
Winger Tom Wright (illness), hooker Folau Fainga’a (toe) and centre Len Ikitau drop out and are replaced by Andy Muirhead, Connal McInerney and Irae Simone respectively. Simone has overcome his bout of mumps to regain his place in the side.

Reserves: Samisoni Taukei'aho, Reuben O'Neill, Ross Geldenhuys, Naitoa Ah Kuoi, Mitchell Karpik, Lisati Milo-Harris, Kaleb Trask, Quinn Tupaea. -
Great to see Luke Jacobson back.
-
Great to see Sam McNicol back.
-
Nick Frost the ex Lincoln University lock on
the bench for the brumbies -
The Chiefs are going to be tested upfront, especially in the rolling mauls, and I hope Slater will throw adequately. But this lineup has too much firepower for the Brumbies.
Chiefs by +15 or more. -

Chiefs by +15 or more.Brumbies have only had one try scoring option for a few seasons now. Have to concede that they do it well and I would hope Gats has some tricks up his sleeve.
No penalties in your half please Chiefs. -

Well that doesn’t compute.
-
Lolosio, love it.
Gets tackled, places ball, gets halfway up ready to grab the ball and go again, looks up and sees Jacobson. Lies back down.
-
I guess the brumbies can score tries outside of a maul.
-
Jacobson off already
-
@Yeetyaah Oh no!
-
@Stargazer going for an HIA. Just saw him walk down the tunnel.
-
Oh crap.
-
@Yeetyaah Commentator says leg injury.
-
This post is deleted! -
@Stargazer didn't look like he was limping at all, he went straight down the tunnel.
-
@Yeetyaah Commentators get it wrong sometimes
-
Only one team in the game so far.
-
I can see the Chiefs still win this game big; playing catch-up again first. They've been doing it in the first 3 rounds, too.
-
Jesus Chiefs, you're making Kata look like a competent footballer. Just think about that.
-
Chiefs have started like they’ve read their own press a bit too much during the week.
-

Finding his feet I think. Watched him last week and his pass off the restart was responsible for the chargedown try.
-
@Nepia Your favorite player scoring against your beloved Chiefs. Just lovely.

They've not seen much ball yet.
-
Some superb variations in the brumbies attack ..
-
Chiefs making the Brumbies look brilliant.
-
Will Miller is such a terrier. Not the biggest bloke, but the biggest heart. Shame the Tahs let him go.
-
Yeah brumbies have turned up with an ambush attitude ,
Chiefs need to wake the fuck up
