both times the Death Stars appeared to blow up in much smaller fragments than what we see there.
Perhaps it's one they built but didn't work ?
Yeah, there were no chunks that big flying around. But wouldn't be the first time they completely ignore what happened before.
I think it's pretty clear from the title that Ray is a Skywalker. Also good to see Kylo with the mask.
I think they put it in because they thought it looked farken cool. A bit like the wrecked star destroyers in Ep7. Something that big would make a big fark off crater I reckon
I can't recall any planet other than Endor being in the vicinity of the DS.
Endor (also known as the Forest Moon of Endor or the Sanctuary Moon) was a small forested moon that orbited the Outer Rim planet of the same name.
The Endor of ROTJ is the moon. We never saw the planet.

Research tells me that Endor is a gas planet like Bespin so they couldn't have been there I don't think 🤔

Yavin Prime is a gas planet too, so no difference there between locations.

I meant in terms of it being Endor proper. I guess the most important thing is what they find there. I assume it's Palpatine related. I think it'll be rather shit if he somehow survived.

Well if Leia can fly through space ( ok, her family has the force so I can accept that to be honest ) then I don't think it's too much of a stretch for the most powerful Sith Lord in history to have cheated death especially when you take into account all the Darth Plagueus chat.
Either way, he's a fucken brilliant bad guy and I love the fact it's pretty much a given that he's back. A Snoke explanation wouldn't go amiss though.

I don't know. It's one thing to Mary Poppins. It's something else to survive that fall and then the entire farking space station blowing up. Actually that would be absolutely ridiculous. I'm guessing it will be the Sith version of a force ghost. They had one of those in the Clone Wars.

Yeah I'm thinking along similar lines to that too. No reason he can't inhabit the body of a clone of some description which is one of the many fan theories doing the rounds, if that is the case how the fuck do they actually kill him ?
After all everything he says is "as he has forseen".....and he was obsessed with finding a worthy apprentice to maybe take over their body but I guess Darth Maul was too alien, Dooku was too old and Anakin got too fucked up.......Luke seemed perfect until he said no.
Maybe Palpatine was in hiding for all those years recovering in his new clone body ?

Terrible quality but some more material for the wank bank......
How cool does IG88 look !!!!!!

Fuck the movies, this looks amazing
While I’ll never say ‘fuck the movies’ I will agree 110% that this show looks off the fucken charts.
I’m assuming it’s set some time between ROTS and ANH judging by the Stormtrooper armour?

@Kirwan said in Star Wars VII ****contains spoilers****:
@MN5 I think it’s after the Return of the Jedi and before The Force Awakens.
Dunno about that, the Empire still look pretty strong and functional.
I’m assuming the lead guy shows all the skills that Boba Fett never showed ( but his old man did ) in the movies. I hope he has a jet pack at some stage.

"Favreau said on Instagram that the show would be set “after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order.”"
The Empire didn't go away all at once, there were more battles and then they morphed into the First order.

I thought the Mandalorians had died out much like the Jedi ?
Who took over the Empire with their two Sith lords gone ? I guess all will be revealed......
