Robertson was also focusing on the breakdown and adapting to the referee. He also admitted culpability for not demanding a more conservative game plan given the wet conditions in Palmerston North.

Obviously didn't learn much from his failure at the U20 world cup then.

    It's only Otago..... 😎

I think it's good to rotate the squad a bit.

@Stargazer Nothing wrong with the rotation! Alex Hodgman is a fantastic Prop extremely mobile aroud the field. This is smart Coaching from Razor as you need to keep all players fresh otherwise you are left with the "burn out" that occurred with the Crusaders at the business end of the season.

@SammyC Nothing wrong with Goodhue, he has the potential to get there. Look at Mounga he is a far cry from the player he was last season, same could be said of Drummond.

Does anyone know where he is playing NPC rugby next year? Obviously he's with the Blues for next couple of years.. is he also moving closer to home for the NPC?

    I like Goodhue, I'm stoked he's signed.

I was complaining about Robertson's game plans in the wet. Both last week against Manawatu and in the U20's

Shees, Jordie Barrett is quite a bit taller than Canterbury's no. 4. I bet he could be a good lock, too!

Jordie Barrett is 1.94 m so McDuling must be the shortest lock in the competition.

Haha, I think Jordie jumped. According to their Canterbury profiles, Jordie is 1.95m and McDuling 1.96m.

Why did Tei Walden not start? he was running some beautiful lines out there when he came on.

Flattering scoreline for Otago as Canterbury were in complete control for most of it until they rolled on the subs.
