    I bet mate. No good!

So what exactly does "shifted a shoe" actually mean?

Btw, if looking for a couple of make up bets, these could be goers

    Pakenham(AUS)
    Race 3 No 2
    Race 5 No 9 scratched

Go both each way but split total bet like 1/3 to 2/3 win/place.

O,Know in Race 8 looks to be a good bet too.

He got re-shoed yesterday and it has shifted on the foot making it uncomfortable. He has become a bit lame becuase of it

Not showing in race 8 yet for me on the app but will keep an eye on it.

Still worth a punt then even if a bit lame?

@JK Sorry, two parts to that post of mine. The second part was relating to Solomon who has been scratched, the first part is relating to O'Know in Race 8. $6:50 fixed which is fairly tidy

Galaxy Miss racing on Saturday! Last race at Hawke Bay.

She is in good condition so hopefully she has a good trip. Should be at reasonable odds. Lightest weight too helps.

Galaxy Miss got suckered into the race for the lead and naturally all three horses that went far too hard at the beginning, didn't see the race out.

She is still fresh thouugh as the Jockey didn't ride her out and let her cruise over the line which is good.

One more start in this compaign and then out in the paddock for Summer.

check out these 2 multis form the weekand, sadly, not mine...

    $50 Multi wins $46,242.00
There were plenty of close games on the throughout the week, it was just a matter of picking who would take them out, as this punter did for a gigantic win.
    Southland v Bay of Plenty - Winning Team & Margin: Southland 12 & Under @ $3.25
    Northland v Wellington - Winning Team & Margin: Wellington 12 & Under @ $3.25
    Counties v Waikato - Winning Team & Margin: Counties 12 & Under @ $3.00
    Canterbury v Otago - Winning Team & Margin: Canterbury 12 & Under @ $3.25
    Taranaki v Manawatu - Winning Team & Margin: Taranaki 12 & Under @ $3.10
    Hawkes Bay v Ta$man - Winning Team & Margin: Ta$man 12 & Under @ $2.90

    $10 Multi wins $17,262.00
An incredibly lucky ticket saw the two Tri-bets come in, only just as Northland and Otago chased bonus points against their more highly fared opposition, with both losing more than 7 but under 12.
    Cronulla Sharks v Nth Queensland Cowboys - Winning Team & Margin: Cronulla 12 & Under @ $3.30
    Southland v Bay of Plenty - Winning Team & Margin: Southland 12 & Under @ $3.25
    Melbourne v Canberra - Winning Team & Margin: Melbourne 12 & Under @ $3.00
    Northland v Wellington - Tri-Bet: Wellington 8 & Over @ $1.45
    Counties v Waikato - Winning Team & Margin: Counties 12 & Under @ $2.90
    Canterbury v Otago - Tri-Bet: Canterbury 8 & Over @ $1.42
    Taranaki v Manawatu - Winning Team & Margin: Taranaki 12 & Under @ $3.10
    Hawkes Bay v Ta$man - Winning Team & Margin: Ta$man 12 & Under @ $2.90

    Great payouts

Been making some good $ on bet365 of late, finding it a lot better than TAB.

Pulled out $800 this week to buy myself a new bike.

Just going through my best returns for the last week or so and most my money is coming from the dishlickers! Amongst a fair few losses I picked up these:

    Greyhounds
    Tito Mojito to win 12 @ $3.80, 26 to place @ $1.57
    Lunchmoney Lewis to win 10 @ $8, $10 to place at $2.38
Gold Compass 10 to win $8.50, 10 to place at $2.10
    Zippy Johnny 10 to win $3,50, 20 to place @ $1.53
    Scott Eeyone 40 to place @ $1.40, Campeon 20 to win @ $1.75, Pirlo 20 to place $1.80 PLUS 15 multi on the all @ $6

I also put $250 on Liverpool to beat Derby @ only $1.35...must have been keen!

Sorry was actually typing that while you posted and then go interrupted.

Have a mate in Aus who races dogs so has given me some insights but still lose plenty (you dont need to see my list of those!)

Finding dogs a lot easier to pick. A couple of things I've learnt...

    • A fast dog from box 1 (red) or 8 (pink) is pretty hard to beat.
    • A fast dog from one of the mid to outer boxes can take out those on the inside if its pings hard from the start and goes straight to the rail. This can set things up for a quick dog in 7 or 8 to get a good place run.
    • Dogs tend of have a lot of history from certain boxes, ie have most of their results from those and bugger all elsewhere.
    • Sometimes dog randomly run in to each other which is farken hard to recover from.
    • Usually only 8 dogs in a race yet pays out on 3 places.....good chance of getting a place!!

Also correct staking is real important in dogs and horses. I basically set a stake a like 2% of my account balance and will generally put say 1 stake on a win and then 2 to a place depending on the places odds. Ideally want to ensure I can cover total cost of my bet by my place winnings. Anything about $2 is great (but also a long shot). If place is like $1.50 then 2 to 1 place to bet ratio required.

Galaxy Miss drawn 19 and Barnaby drawn 5.

Last race of the day and it is supposed to rain from today onwards.

Will not be surprised if Barnaby is scratched.

On a couple later today at Mornington. Sharing for the sake of letting you know what I'm betting on and not that I think they are great tips and are sure winners

R2 #10 Pachini Boy $11.00 & $3.25 (on bet 365) outsider as 1st run (trailled well) but Damien Oliver in the sadde
R5 #5 Curragh (tavistock) only paying $2.70 to win (on bet365) but think going to be very hard to beat

Just picked up a couple decent pays on dogs again. Two I like the look of in particular are both at Ballarat tonight

Race 8 #6 and race 9#1 both should win
Oh and #4 in race 7 but place only

If betting on NZ tab then it seems to be tote odds only until it's next race up then they offer fixed as well.
