@booboo AS? Really? While I'm not a hater (and don't want to set off Canes4Life) I was watching him in that match and thinking "man, I wish Cane was there".

Yes really. Liked his ball carrying.

Disclaimer: I am an unashamed Cane fanboi

Cane would've been yellow carded if he played.. I could see the Argies going down like a dominoes after a Cane shove in the back..

AS played well.. Made a heap of tackles, great runs in close.. And was a pest at the breakdown, committing a lot of the Argie defenders..
Squire didnt do much.. Lots of hope for Akira and Luatua

Opps, look like I set off mimic4life. πŸ˜‰ He didn't have a bad game or a great game (unless it was only in comparison to his fat brother) but hardly MoTM level IM obviously HO.

Bit rough on Squire, he was barely on the field.

Perenara was tremendous, at least it is no longer Smith then daylight. Defoe much stronger than Smith at the breakdown. ALB had a great game too, the depth they are building in the midfield is excellent. PT and Rettalick pretty much tied for third.

BBBR, Pat T and ALB. TJP also excellent as was Ardie. Once Ardie puts on that extra bit of bulk like Cane did he is going to be dominant - the 7 jumper will be shared by he and Cane for years to come, and I wouldn't be surprised if we see a Candie combo at times as well. Fuck we are spoilt post McCoy.

I thought Ardie Savea's performance demonstrated the difference between starting and being an impact sub when the opposition is tiring.

He played well but I'd have Cane at 7 on today's performance

When Arg got their roll on in the 2nd half, look who was the ineffectual pillar on multiple occasions. A savea a metre too wide and drifting. He's good as a ball runner but not to standard as an all round test match player.

    ALB, TKB, PT

Yeah I was hoping they would replace Ardie with Dixon during that stage to tighten it up a bit. Plus Ardie looked a little gassed to me.

    TKB?

You know that ALB is the brown midfielder and Crotty is the white one right?

I went ALB and Patrick because of strong run on performances for new guys - and 3rd was for Ben Smith because he does so many good things and you see how good he is at full-back once he isn't there.

I was impressed by Ardie's fitness - despite starting he still managed to play like the impact sub later in the game. When he runs with the ball it is like a fat guy heading towards cake with his dietician trying to stop him - he drags the tacklers along with him superbly. I was missing Cane and Kaino though for the stiffening

As Lady Mick, who is from a beautiful Pacific Island on the edge of SE Asia and has an especially dark "tan" and glorious long black hair, is wont to say "All you white fellas look the same to me."

This Lienert-Brown chappie is good alright but he's only about 16 years old and I am horribly prejudiced, Nepia, in favour of blokes who are old and past it, like Ryan Crotty, Snakey, Cory Jane ... and Mick.

Anyway - where have they hidden the MOTM leader board? I would like to see who else other than me made the correct selections. πŸ•ΊπŸ½
