Classic Ioane, Ardie had to put him in his place
What does a post by the Blues that Ardie responded to have to do with Rieko?
You are obsessed with Ioane.
It is funny how many people are annoyed at us being in the finals haha, we really do live rent free in a lot of peoples heads, and yeah, is there a player that cops more shit from fans in this country than Rieko Ioane?
I think people are more just disappointed that the Blues managed to fight their way back after such a poor start.
Can absolutely see them going all the way too.

Plenty of players cop as much shit as RI, some cop even more than he does. It's just different type of shit.

Come on, we ain't winning next week haha.
But us undeservedly being there is funny for the reactions. People love to pile on Rieko Ioane but no one bats an eyelid when Sevu Reece carries on like a tool. Wonder what the difference is?

But the 'lucky loser' drops a ranking. So the Chiefs would be 2nd ranked and the Canes 1st
In what world would the Canes be first seed? The Chiefs would drop a seed to second and as the crusaders were second, they're gone and the chiefs would still be the highest seed.
Chiefs 2
Canes 4
Reds 5
Blues 6Or have I read it completely wrong and the Chiefs still drop a semi final seeding spot as the teams are re-seeded?

Huh? Not the best example naming Reece. He gets criticised a fair bit for being a tool.

You can blame Nine/Stan for the playoff schedule. The Brumbies wanted to play on Sat afternoon to avoid a clash with an AFL game to be played at Manuka Oval. The Sat night time slot allows them to show the game FTA on Nine, while the Fri night time slot would only be on Stan. So it's all about maximising the Aust audience.

Not on social media he doesn't, and it's very mild if he does compared to what Rieko Ioane cops. Here, everyone cops their fair share, no doubt, but im talking outside this forum.
Everyone has their breaking point and well, Rieko has reached his, similar to what his brother used to cop.

Yeah I wish I didn't haha, but the players do and they see a lot of the stuff that gets written about them and it's hard to get away from it. The opinions on there are also mind boggling to put it kindly.

This place is reasonable argument heaven compared to that cesspit. -
I not into social media at all, and come from a time when rugby players were meant to be big silent type etc.
But truth is I actually like we have these joker playing the game now who aren't scared to be a bit out there, and stuff the consequences., whether on or off the field. -

I'm not sure where to put this but I've been told Japanese Test lock Warner Dearns is leaving Toshiba and will be returning to NZ for the foreseeable so would be a interesting pick up for a Super team next year
Where was he from orginally?

@gt12 said in Super Rugby 2025:
They were all over the place - Hawkes Bay for a while, and I think his Mum is/ was working down South at Mid Canterbury.
Would be a great target for Jamie Joseph and the Landers. Holland and Dearns would be a superb combo.

Edit: Wiki says born in Wellington, so get your hopes up
Haha would be nice to have a big lock in Welly for once.

Honestly, I'm only really keen on him if he is planning to make himself available for the ABs. However, it would be a great pickup for the Landers.
