that was honestly one of the best passes i have ever seen. he just throws it to space, and hits AJ in stride. An absolute peach, delivered right on the spot, thrown on the run. Sexy.

Ain’t no stopping big Trelly Mit when he’s in this@kind of mood 😨📝 Catch the full breakdown on our latest show OUT NOW! All thanks to @gatoradenewzealand.

I watched that. So it appears it's not always Dallin's fault, more slow reactions from his insides. He still seems to get caught far too often, so they need to step up. And it was an amazing pass and try scoring run

There's literally no reason why the third man should be so easily drawn by Latrell. That's the job of the bloke inside him.

It is a good example, but also plenty of examples of when he goes early because potentially he thinks he has been burnt by his insides previously and leaves his line .. Most wingers dont defend this way and his lack of communication was why he wasnt a good fullback. Do agree though when Latrell is in that kind of mood he is dangerous

@bayimports I think we have a problem on the inside. Firstly, we haven’t had decent defending halves for a while. Then it’s been a bit hit and miss in the centres. Dallin has that tendency I agree, but I don’t think it’s too different to how Vatuvei used to defend.

I found it interesting that we didn't have many examples of this happening while he was out injured and arguably you would think Taine and Kosi would be worse. But we weren't. Kosi still had problems turning but we didn't often get beaten on the outside. Instead we might still have a defensive gap in the centres but it is harder to get through there, than an open wing. I think it is a big reason why we have conceded a lot more since his return.

    Oof that is not good.

I'm in Sydney, but the chances of me trooping out to Construction Site "stadium" are absolute zero.

The chances of getting tickets (unless you're by yourself) are zero too. I jumped on to get three tickets a few weeks ago and they only had single tickets left.

I'm trying to go to every clubs ground in Sydney. Just have Shark Park and Kograh left.

Also, how the fuck do the organisers of these comps put the Chiefs up against the Warriors do often? I've barely watch a Warriors broadcast live this year due to the clashes - luckily my last two remaining bogan rugby fan mates always check before spoiling results.

Also, I hope Lieatua was cut for injury and they didn't decide a 2nd rower was a better option? I would say this is the week it starts falling down but I've been wrong the entirety of this year so I think we're going to smash them.

Giving them penalties out of their own half is hurting us

Warriors not looking like a side with two of their spine out injured.
In fact our attack is starting to click at just the right time
    I like this side

Down on troops no problem… defence was awesome today. Yes Sharks were awful but our aggressive defence was great today watch. There is confidence in this squad

Best part is our for and against finally gets a boost

Sooo good to finally put a team away.

So many putting their hands up, hard to single out any individual in this performance.

Thought we were up shit creek without Egan but Healey was impressive.

What a professional, all round clinical game that was.

Only negative is DWZ is a bloody liability on D.

    You bloody beauty!!!

Fuck me the Warriors have confused the hell out of me this year. I really thought we were heading for a dud year yet they've been going from strength to strength and are now starting to improve their for and against too.

Credit for Webster for changing his gameplan away from the littlemen and bringing through the young big forwards.

Credit to Metcalf for being better than he ever looked in the last two years. Hopefully he can hold this level now.

What I also find confusing is that the Warriors (over)hype train seems really subdued this year, especially when you compare it with last year where all and sundry were declaring the Warriors the greatest thing since slice bread even as they bumbling around.

Also, the Broncos v Titans match looks like the ABs v Argies.

Probably the most consistent last tackle kicking performance from our halves this season. Nice to see some contestable kicks deep in attack.

the stale 2025 State of Origin is rolling in to game 2 with absolutely no hype behind it. The most boring series i can remember, caused by the fact that Qld are shit, the coaches having no personality, and the players being mostly nice guy, aw shucks polynesians with the exception of Leniu, who is a bench player anyway.

It turns out Billy isn't a genius, he's just another dim bloke from Innisfail. His team got fucking rolled through the middle, and one of his wingers who is a centre dropped nearly everything that came his way and was lost on defense. So in order to rectify that he dropped the halfback. FMD.
Wait, he also dropped a form edge backrower after giving him the last 15 mons of game 1, and brought in old man Capewell who was shown to be too slow for this level 12 fucking months ago (yes his club form is better but it's not like he's got quicker!).
He also brought Mam in to camp which is a massive failure to read the room.

NSW lost our boy Barney and just got to roll in a form Storm front rower. Every one else remains the same. Considering their attack didn't click in game 1, and they still never looked like losing, if they get that right it will get very ugly in Perth.
