Razor is on Breakdown, Justin Marshall sounds butthurt about DHs omission
James O’Connor will be shocked too
JOC was certainly throwing around the praise this season
O’Connor, who has seen first hand the ability Kemara possesses, was even more effusive with his praise for the talented playmaker. “I would say he’s probably the most naturally gifted 10 I’ve played with."

I heard Dalton threatened to head butt them and that de-escalated things....
Where there’s smoke, there’s head butts…

Wallace Sititi only started 8 out of 15 games last year. He's started 13 Super Rugby games his entire career. Not even a full seasons worth
Also Hoskins Sotutu was Super Rugby Player of the year and helped his team win a title. Something Sititi is yet to do.
Sititi was a player of potential with a handful of good games but he wasn't obviously the best which is why his selection was controversial in the media.
Yeah and they played him at 6. Ballsy.

Point of clarification - when they list Lio Willie and Narawa as injury coverage does that mean they are in the squad until the two injured players recover or that they will be called up at some point in the future if the players don't recover?
I'm just unclear what precisely that designation means. Thanks.

I thought I heard Razor say CLW is available for selection in the first test

If Wallace Sititi is in a moonboot, that might add some spice for selection 2moro, depending on severity of injury.
Left leg? In the final he looked like he tried to push off his left leg when he turned to stop a try and he just couldn't. Looked in pain to me.
Gee if only there was a specialist 8 who was recently player of the year. . thinks...

He's playing with the BaaBaas in SA, then he's probably off on a holiday trip to the UK......

He would be a fringe fill in, who might get some garbage time in a meaningless game that would then rule him ineligible to play for England, or anyone else. Keen?
-
Didn't Sotutu already turn down a call up in 2024? I probably read it here but I was under the impression that he was just biding his time until eligible for England.

The bridge collapsed in 2024 when Tubby Ryan sat on one end of it and that ripple effect caused all the boats to sink.

I have no oil. I was hoping someone here does.

It's an opportunity to represent NZ. Against a side that keeps beating us recently, B team or not. He's not going to get a better opportunity here.
But I don't actually know what he is thinking, I don't have the extra-sensory talents of some on here and I don't know if the coaches have even mentioned him recently but they'd have something interesting to say I suspect. All I can say is that it would be great to pick players who are actually fit to play.

That's cool that he's named after William Wallace

This is where I read up on his England eligibility - as soon as November this year.
From the tone of his comments it seems like he doesn't think he will be (or has been) given a fair shot to make the team and there's not much incentive to give up England eligibility just to hold the tackle bags at a few training camps and warm the bench.
I'm not sure how much he would feature in Englands plans either but I suppose his agent will be trying to determine that and what the market is for him in Europe this (NH) summer.
