Kinda makes one feel old when ex-teammates sons are playing for the Lions.

Love it how 2 of the least likely players to appear for the Bourne are wearing the mighty green and gold socks.

@taniwharugby What did I say when the team was announced. đŸ˜†

A poor quality game though and some puzzling decisions by the TMO (re: forward passes)

@Bovidae I didnt see the first one, but the way the comms were talking they were similar and there was no way that 2nd one wasnt a forward pass.

@taniwharugby They were both forward passes. The Wellington player (Trreeby?) was in front of the passer before he received the ball.

Alainu’uese fucked up by not passing inside to Burn.

Wow, you've got amazing eyesight. Definitely wasn't clear and in no way obvious.

Best thing about that result is auckland are out of the semis. Maybe next year they'll pick some forwards willing to work instead of a bunch of pretty boys.

    Highly unlikely though đŸ™‚

All Wellington had to do at the end was hold the ball. Yet they kicked it away whenever they had it. It reminded me of the brainless play by the Canes in the 2015 final. Watching and wondering WTF they were doing
