OK, been awhile since my last confession. Father I have sinned...

Weight is the same, but have been eating a tonne of meat home made chips and eggs all grown on farm, only the table spoon of olive oil is off farm, but not to far, Paul Holmes just down the road.

I have also been grilling venison/lamb patties for lunch.

At least not gaining weight, but not lossing it, which is the goal.

Next problem is wife is flying off to UK for 3 weeks which is a disaster for me as I go meat crazy.

Well, you could go on a temp Atkins diet and eat all the meat you want and drop the carbs? Won't be doing your heart any favours...

lean meat - rip into it!!

try the atkins thing, it should work over 3 weeks, and you would not want to do it much longer than that, as it is pretty tough by all accounts, but once your body starts to use the fat reserves for energy, as you are not taking in the carbs, you should lose some weight.

Your wifre might wonder where all the meat has gone though after three weeks...

Heart pfft...who needs one of them. I shall look into it. The neigbours are doing a sort of meat no bread, no glutin diet....they have bacon and eggs for breakfast, cooked lunch of meat and bugger all for dinner.

Nothing like a bit of hard graft to knock the weight off. Nearly finished calving and it's been a hard slog on our own. Averaging 14 hr days with little time for stops, and have dopped down to 101kgs this morning.

A mate of mine has a better half who works every saturday morning so after dropping her off he pops round to my place for the biggest dirtiest fry up imaginable. Whilst sadly not ideal everyday ( Bacon, sangers, Eggs mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ) all that protein and fark all carbs hasn't increased our weight any....

    Sorry for late reply Raz.
Off the top of my head I think 1995, worked in a woolstore in Gisborne and mate and I, both Props, would do a bit of pre season training pressing bales. Had big set of scales that we kept weighing ourselves trying to get under a hundy. Sadly since then I have lost the fight against gravity.
