    I thought TKB had a blinder on Friday but I didn't see much of the other NZ teams apart form the Highlanders. Pulu must have been outstanding

    I agree with most. Would make these changes

    1- Crockett (that try-saving run deserves a reward)
    7- Ardie Savea/Pete Samu
    10- West (would have picked Mo'unga if he'd kicked better)
    11- JSavea (but with an honourable mention of Tevita Li; definitely not James Lowe, who got the ball handed to him & only had to run when he scored his tries)
    14- Tamanivalu was great until he got injured/Aso

    The Herald had Gibson, West, and Duffie in their XV.

    The Herald also purposely didnt include Canes cos they played the Sunwolves - I thought it would be more fun to include Canes.

    @Hooroo Pulu was outstanding. He along with Rieko were the two best players on the field. Everything he did was excellent - with and without the ball.

    Another I almost put in was Pauliasi Manu - I thought he was terrific for the Blues - scrum went well - was good around the park and muscled over for a try.

    I find it ridiculous not to include Canes. Just take into account the strength of the opposition. The Rebels were also easy-beats.

    And I find it offensive when even a sports journalist or commentator can't even spell a player's name right (Reiko instead of Rieko). Geez, it's not that hard ...

    canes were damned in that game...needed to hammer the SW because they should, but not doing so would have made pundits ridicule them...man the SW are crap canes should have won by that much or man the SW are crap why didn't the canes win by 50+

    @Stargazer I agree.

    I see Pete Samu mentioned as a possibility - I saw him fall off a lot of tackles for the Crusaders - he's a good useful player (not sure he's a natural 7) but for me he missed too many tackles to make this team.
