    No more unusual than the continued persistence in numbering teams 15-10 then 1-8

    Firstly: what @Crucial said
    Second: the software sees numbers and creates a list

    Fixed

    Dots after a number makes the software think its an ordered list and the numbers will keep incrementing

    The Barbarians squad to take on England and Ulster is taking shape.

    At this stage, the following players have been selected:

    Backs:
    Bundee Aki (Connacht), Adam Ashley-Cooper (Bordeaux Begles & Australia), Yann David (Toulouse and France), Will Genia (Stade Francais & Australia), Maxime Medard (Toulouse & France), Ruan Pienaar (Ulster & South Africa), Charles Piutau (Ulster & New Zealand).

    Forwards:
    Patricio Albacete (Toulouse & Argentina), Steffon Armitage (Pau & England), Thierry Dusautoir (Toulouse & France), Corey Flynn (Glasgow Warriors & New Zealand), Facundo Isa (Lyon & Argentina), Census Johnston (Toulouse & Samoa), Joe Tekori (Toulouse & Samoa), Jeremy Thrush (Gloucester & New Zealand).

    Obviously, Pienaar and Piutau will only be available for the game v England and will play for Ulster against the Baabaas.

    The rumour is that they are chasing Dan Carter for the 10 jersey, but no news on that front yet.

    Could they not cobble 23 out of the 41 Lions? And make one of the games BaaBaas v Lions.

    If Eddie Jones hadn't already lost it, he certainly has now: Willi Heinz has been called into the England training squad for their upcoming Argentina series!

    @Stargazer

    It's an odd sounding one, but not quite as odd considering the circumstances. It's very much an odds and sods training squad for the baa baas game, with Jones not able to select from Exeter (Maunder, Chudley), Wasps (Simpson, Robson), Saracens (Wigglesworth, Spencer) and Leicester (Harrison, Youngs - also Lions) who are in the AP play offs and Northampton (Dickson) as they are in a play off for a Champions Cup spot next season.

    He might get a game off the bench against the baa baas, but would be surprised if he made it to Argentina.

    @Margin_Walker Yes, that's what I thought, but why doesn't he select a talented rookie instead of Heinz, who is 30? Would be a huge learning experience for a young talent.

    @Stargazer

    Can't really think of an obvious one as what little depth there is at 9 (along with full back, it's the weakest position depth wise for England) is stacked in the top four clubs.

    Maunder for Exeter is the 20 year old that has been selected for the Argentina tour but is unavailable here.

    To be fair to Heinz, he's not great but is keeping B&I Lion Laidlaw out of the Gloucester side.

    Irish? Irish?!! He's not qualified for selection until October.

    I'm sure he could play the Baa-baas this weekend instead of Connacht's playoff semifinal.....

    What are the 2 or 3 halfbacks in the England u20 JWC squad doing at the moment?

    A few weeks until the tournament, couldn't they fling some passes in the training camp for Eddie.

    Bizarre.

    @Rapido I assume that's tongue in cheek? The England U20s play their first game of the JWC in 2 weeks (Wed 31 May, against Samoa).

    Nope - mainly due to injury however. But his performance in the U20 last year, and in training has put him high on the prospect list. We need more depth and youth in lock stocks so himself and Treadwell who's also played well with Ulster look promising.

    A lot of people, including myself, surprised at Adam Byrne's exclusion - I thought he'd been excellent on the wing for Leinster this season. However, the 8 new caps alongside a good few raw internationals is going to push the coaching team as much as the players to get results.

    The IRFU is also using the summer tour to develop Irish coaches with Ronan O'Gara, Girvan Dempsey and Felix Jones being involved for one each of the three tests.
