Didn't Trump just increase military spending? And is asking for NATO countries do the same - wouldn't that be pro "Military Industrial Complex"
He did. They ALL do. But having a big expensive shiny war machine is not the same thing as seeking new & imagined enemies to deploy them.
And these days, most of the spending on U.S. military in the present-and-future is paying for the pensions and V.A. hospitals for all those unlucky sods who got their limbs blown off fighting dumbass wars that were started on hoaxes.

You argue that the three agencies have ZERO evidence for the possible interference in the election and then bring up the WMD fiasco which again there is no hard evidence. Lots of suppositions, probably quite likely but no evidence as yet.
You got that right. ZERO evidence. Just the word of a third-party contracted to DNC that already has been debunked -- that's right, a CRUCIAL claim about GPU and Ukraine Crowdstrike made has already been debunked -- and DNC refuses to turn their servers and Podesta's servers to the FBI.
ZERO evidence. Just the same "trust us" and "just imagine" boogeymen trotted out to agitate for conflict.

Not according to this

Come on Baron, take 3 minutes to elucidate why you think Donald Trump has what it'll take to try to right this ship known as the US of A and in reality, most of the western world.
Surely most agree that the joint is in a
fucken messless than ideal state due to ridiculous substance-less ideologies getting in the way of pragmatic human progress. So why Donald?
I'm genuinely curious because if I learn he's worth a punt, then in the void of decent current leadership , I'll take it.
(World politics are looking increasingly bleak to me right now.)
But you (and all Trump supporters) must realise that for most who've been around enough to have met most types, the videos we've seen, unadulterated, straight from the horse's mouth, for over 20 years, well, he's a bragging fuckwit, mate.
And you never give the benefit of the doubt to a blowhard - it's a kiwi constant
What's he got that'll make him successful in this particular sphere?
He's definitely got the balls and front to deal with all the spurious and dishonest malcontents, which CNN seem to be heading up.
And, we can be certain that this world of slander and "Trump derangement syndrome" (a truly ambivalent phrase) doesn't phase him.
So Trump proponents, apart from the fact that he won the race, why the confidence that this guy will influence and generate a world that we all can benefit from?
What do you see in him?
Genuine question
.
Yeah nah.
I thought about it. But as your post went on the silly rhetoric about Trump grew I decided your request wasn't genuine at all.. so I cannot be bothered answering your question. But if you care to look the answers are in this thread already. -
In July 2016, Donald Trump Jr, Paul Manafort and Jared Kushner met with Natalia Veselnitskaya, a Russian lawyer, to discuss the Magnitsky Act - MSM tried to frame this meeting as evidence of Russian collusion with Trump.
But.......as Trump's consel have revealed (because they have known certain stuff all along - imo)
“We have learned from both our own investigation and public reports that the participants in the meeting misrepresented who they were and who they worked for,” said Mark Corallo, a spokesman for President Trump’s legal team. “Specifically, we have learned that the person who sought the meeting is associated with Fusion GPS, a firm which according to public reports, was retained by Democratic operatives to develop opposition research on the President and which commissioned the phony Steele dossier. "My opinion......it's either a big, big coincidence or....................
It was a set-up, along with bogus "dirty dossier" to create basis for 1st FISA tap on Trump Campaign. Fusion GPS ..the firm hired by Democrats to fabricate the 'Trump Dossier', had staged this meeting with the Russian lawyer and Donald Jr to fabricate collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
The further question is this - was someone in the White House setting up these meetings? Because there have been others. For example, Jeff Sessions with Sergey Kislyak.

The Publicly Available Evidence Doesn’t Support Russian Gov Hacking of 2016 Election
Three days ago, the Washington Post ran this article by Philip Bump — “Here’s the public evidence that supports the idea that Russia interfered in the 2016 election”.
This gist of the article was, since we can’t know what the classified evidence is that supports the U.S. government’s finding in favor of Russian government intereference, there is plenty of public evidence which should convince us.
Bump is wrong about that. The public evidence isn’t enough to identify Russian government involvement, or even identify the nationality of the hackers involved. That doesn’t mean that the Russian government isn’t responsible. It means that we don’t know enough to say who is responsible based solely on the publicly known evidence, including classified evidence that’s been leaked.
Here’s a recap:
-
Disappointing that Tillerson was the only other US official for the meeting between Putin and Trump, so no substantive reporting on what actually went on.
5 months into the job, so I am assuming this was Trumps first performance review...

Comey might be in trouble -
"....the revelation that four of the seven memos included some sort of classified information opens a new door of inquiry into whether classified information was mishandled, improperly stored or improperly shared." -

Sorry who else did you want in that meeting to provide leaks?

@Baron-Silas-Greenback - good to hear. Will have a look around for what sorts of things are in the pipeline for Vets

@Paekakboyz Trump is in the process of cleaning up VA.

@Frank - good to see them sorting the dept out. Wonder how Vet care ties into other healthcare (ie other systems in flux)... had caught a doco on Vice about Vets not being able to access marijuana even when it was prescribed (at state level) due to country wide policy.
So VA first, then the swamp?

In regard to the Paris Climate agreement, it seems Turkey might pull out. Their reason is they are not going to get enough money. Not to worry, the other countries that love it so much will pony up the cash - won't they??
No really? The many only signed up to get wedges of cash from the few??? Who woulda thought...
