I believe he requested competant props...Yup, from the Rebels. Apparently, he wants to be closer to his kids. Boyd said a week or so ago, without mentioning Smith's name, that they had a young talented prop but that he wouldn't be ready for the next two years. Not sure who he was referring to. Could be Fidow or Rakete-Stones (both NZ U20s).
