If you have 100 petabytes of data you need to transfer to a data farm, how do you do it? Even using a really good Ethernet cable it might take minutes and minutes to transfer, and you're just too busy to stand there and wait. For 20 years.

My old man had a cute Chavham story from back when he was in the Royal Marines. He was on a night out and he saw this sailor banging a whore in a shop doorway. She had her arms round his neck and her legs round his waist as he got his knee-trembler, only unbeknownst to the sailor she was eating a bag of chips.
