RETURN OF THE 24TH PLAYER!!! Cheika pulling out all the stops for this one 😉

    • 50th cap for Foley (who has 499 Test points)
    • 1st Starting cap for Rodda, Dempsey, and Koroibete
    • Possible debut for Lukhan Tui - depending on 6-2 bench I'd say as Hanigan has the experience of 7 Tests now.
    1. Scott Sio (36 Tests)

    2. Tatafu Polota-Nau (75 Tests)

    3. Sekope Kepu (84 Tests)

    4. Izack Rodda (2 Tests)

    5. Adam Coleman (15 Tests)

    6. Jack Dempsey (3 Tests)

    7. Michael Hooper (C) (72 Tests)

    8. Sean McMahon (19 Tests)

    9. Will Genia (vc) (82 Tests)

    10. Bernard Foley (vc) (49 Tests)

    11. Reece Hodge (17 Tests)

    12. Kurtley Beale (64 Tests)

    13. Tevita Kuridrani (51 Tests)

    14. Marika Koroibete (1 Test)

    15. Israel Folau (59 Tests)

    16. Stephen Moore (122 Tests)

    17. Tom Robertson (13 Tests)

    18. Allan Alaalatoa (16 Tests)

    19. Rob Simmons (75 Tests)

    20. Ned Hanigan (7 Tests)

    21. Lukhan Tui*

    22. Nick Phipps (55 Tests)

    23. Samu Kerevi (11 Tests)

    24. Henry Speight (16 Tests)

    One player to be omitted

Hooper is looking good to be the first player to 150, if not 200 caps

@majorrage turns 26 in a month. He should crack 100 before he's thirty.

Henry Speight drops out of the match day squad - meaning Lukhan Tui is likely to debut at the ripe old age of 21.

That's a complete tight five + Hanigan on the bench, and a fairly meaty one with Tui weighing in at 123kg (198cm).

51 tests for Kuridrani surprises me. It isn't as if he has set the world on fire to hold down his spot.

@crucial had a couple of good seasons where his ball running was very incisive for us, running off Giteau

The season they thrashed the old Brumbies lineout set play where they gave him an angled run at speed? Yeah, he was quite good at that.

@crucial Think so - was a while back and I don't watch Super Rugby much.

In any case, I've always found him and Speight to be defensive liabilities. When they get a shoulder on its usually pretty good. But their positioning is shit, and you know it is by how vehemently any Brumbies fan will defend them over it.

At his best he is kind of a half-Mortlock.

That hair pull / tackle on Leyds should have been a yellow card. Disgusting.

@justanotherfan which is to try and go after Folau then realise he's the same size so change tack and pin Genia on the ground and rub his forearm in his face? Man he's tough.

Man Coetzee really lacks any kind of oomph on attack.

Moore arguing with the ref because he wasn't allowed to advance to ten metres from where Jantjies was taking the shot. Surely he knows that.
