Found it hard to only pick 3. Went for Scott Barrett, although Todd and Romano played well, too.
My second pick was Havili, because he made the most of the 9 minutes he got. Awesome break almost leading to a try and a brilliant try at the end.
Third pick was Dmac for that fast thinking, taking the quick tap to score a try.

DMac is going to be miles ahead in this one. Really hard to pick three players given how many mixed sublime with shit.

    I sense a theme here....

Aaron Smith, DMac and Romano for me. Hames very close.

Gotta be Dmac for this one. Hard to separate Romano, Hames and Laulala. Naholo pretty good too.

    DMac and both loosehead props.

A combination I would not have picked at the start of the game! 🙂

    DMac
    Hames
    Romero

All three disparaged in recent times.

And I see the three leading contenders in this poll at this time.

Surprised at the lack of love for ALB.

AB defense was great (usually attributed to mid field organisation but only one vote for SBW). ALB was a solid as Conrad, distributed well and was pretty much error free. Strong in contact which helped in later phases as well.

Romero stepped up and DMac is just one of those players - high risk - high return. He paid off.

I went for DMac, Romano (his best game in black in a long time) and Naholo.

I could only watch the 1st half live and would have had Hames or Read in my 3 ahead of Naholo. Then after seeing the 2nd half later in the afternoon, Hames got subbed early and Read got a YC.

One thing's for sure - if Hames keeps on his current improvement trajectory, by next week he'll be the best player the world has ever seen! 🙂

Or dMac... same theory, he's gonna be player-of-the-millennium

    @snowy
ALB's distribution was not slick but he was solid. Hard to compare him with Conrad IMO.

@cgrant Fair enough. It was more the reliability, error free aspect that I was getting at.

I'm confused. How can I vote for BBBR when he wasn't there?
