Think I heard the diving this season is now going up to a post-match tribunal for further punishments? Hoo fucken ray

There I was, determined not to get sucked into the Premier league melodrama this year, having read all about the money and greed and bullshit surrounding the thing, so what happens on Unemployed Monday, I sit down and watch replays of the opening 4 games, in their entirety, back to back, 1pm to 7pm. Moran. Plenty of goals though, great stuff. Turns out the time you enjoy wasting is not actually wasted at all. Who knew.

Arse 4 Leicester 3 jesus what a great game. Terrible result but should never have been that close. Leicester with only 3 shots on target. 3 goals.

Chelsea with a colossal fuckup oh God fucking hell on toast it was great. Fabregas throwing a sook, coach throwing an epi, Sideshow Bob having a derailed 90 minute spacco, HT 0-3 down at home to Burnley? Fahhk. With Spurs doing the business and Liverpool stuffing it up vs Watford thatโ€™s a yes. Mignolet a hapless dwarf. What happened to the wafty-haired Aryan goalie they brought in to replace him? The new Egyptian is bloody good though, making runs like a maniac. New red strip looks like a throwback to the days of Hansen and Rush and Dalglish. Didnโ€™t even realise the colour had changed from them old days until I saw what it used to look like.

    ManU looked vaguely terrifying.

Man C also. Fuck them. Mansheikster Sheiky.

Chris Wood's move to the Premier League has been confirmed.

A 4-year deal with Burnley for a club record fee (NZ$26M).

I hope he goes well. Just not next weekend, they're playing spurs I think ๐Ÿ˜‰

Wheels are starting come loose over at Spurs in the EPL. Playing great European footy but to lose to The Arsenal then draw on the weekend and currently down 2-0 at Leicester.

Man City win the Manchester derby 2-1 so now have an 11 pt lead. That is also 14 consecutive wins - a record.

The Christmas-New Years period can make or break a campaign but it is hard to see Man City losing the title from here.

So Citeh will win the league at a canter but will not be undefeated. Sounds like a cracking match at Anfield with Klopp (and Kop) almost exploding at the end.

1 point from two games - they're runbbish that City

While The Arsenal are utter rubbish this season, it is very pleasing to me that City won't equal Arsenal's undefeated season.

When I saw the Bournemouth result, for the first time ever, I thought; Arsene it's past time to go.

Really should have called it a day after his last FA Cup triumph but it appears he's an addict.

Funny! So did I. With Sanchez going we need a new leader there

How do Liverpool manage to look so unstoppable and then come crashing down against the lower teams? The real battle is looking like the top 4 at the moment.

    Man C 65
    Man U 53
    Chelsea 50
    Liverpool 47

    Spurs 45
    Arsenal 42

@kiwipie this morning's result is the most Liverpool thing ever. Beat City one week, lose to the bottom side a week later. It's what they do, and why they will never win the league.

Really lop-sided league this year, with the top 6 light years ahead of everyone else. No one from 9th down is safe from relegation, and they would all deserve it.

    Classic Arsenal!

Getting thumped away from home 3-1 against bottom of the league.

no longer bottom of the league. Back-to-back wins against top 6 opponents and they are out of the drop zone!

They were earlier today until Arsenal gifted them 3??

Plenty of activity as the transfer window closed this morning.

    • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joins Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund.
    • Olivier Giroud goes to Chelsea from Arsenal.
    • Michy Batshuayi goes to Dortmund on loan.
    • Islam Slimani has moved on loan to Newcastle United
    • Badou Ndiaye has joined Stoke from Galatasaray.
    • Lucas Moura transfers from PSG to Spurs

    @hooroo

I hope Sanchez got booed this morning.

Winning vs Spurs was easier in an Arsenal shirt. ๐Ÿ˜‰

@rocky-rockbottom One wonders when Pool will purchase themselves a competent keeper.
