@nepia So when the ball left Leitch's hands, it traveled forward? And that was clear and obvious?

It's about as far from the worst non call ever as you can get.

Oh FFS, did it go forward from Leitch to try scorer? Yes, because the try scorer was in front of Leitch when he received the ball. If you don't think that is clear and obvious you can borrow my -9 contact lenses if you like.

Was it the worst non call ever? Sheesh, we all use a little hyperbole on the fern.

@nepia If it was already in the receivers hands before Leitch released it, how did it travel forward?

Awful kick from Marty McKenzie followed by some awful defence.

Where did I say that? However, if we follow that reasoning, it's fine for a team to pass the ball forwards in a maul as long as the person passing it forwards doesn't release it until he's got his hands on it?

Ok, he offered nothing in that one!

If that happened, would it be a forward pass?

The Sunwolves backs were several metres offside on that kick.

Good team try, although I thought we were going to bomb that at one stage

Alaimalo would have to be on the ABs radar. Beautiful long pass to start that movement.

Sunwolves should have been kicked out of the comp instead of the Force. A bunch of shithouse locals and has-been expats who’ve added yet another long haul flight to the comp.

@donsteppa Australia are much better off with 4 teams instead of 5.

@kiwimurph my thinking is that - if we had to make a choice of kicking teams out - the comp was a lot better off with a stopover game from/to South Africa than with teams like the Sunwolves and Jaguares adding SFA except travel. Though it does help the remaining four Oz teams in the short run.
