As for my run this weekend, I have decided I need to finish inside 54 mins for 9kms, although I think <50mins is achievable if I get into the right rhythm and dont need a pit-stop halfway through!<br />
[/quote]<br />
<br />
Had my 9km run this morning (actually 9.05km) and pretty stoked to have done it in 45.19 (bloody Far North Hayden finished about a minute ahead of me) although the 3 to go and 2 to go run markers seemed so far apart, as I was at 6km I was 30.30 and then hit the 7 km at 37mins I couldnt believe it took me that long when I was running the same pace (or so I thought)<br />
<br />
Certainly tougher than last weeks longer run where you are forced to walk in parts giving you plenty of recovery time.<br />
<br />
So I did about 5.02 +/- per km, so very happy about that, as this was my pace pretty much each of the 9km, as we did the first 4 at that pace as my mate commented it was a bit quicker than he usually did. Each km will have been at least 20sec quicker than my best one last week -
Well done! That's a good result. Sounds like they cocked up the markers at the wrong end of the race-when people are getting tired.<br />
<br />
I hope to see some more of your hill runs while the weather is still perfect. Ha, since you're in Northland, the weather is probably perfect all year! -

<br />
declared a drought here last week!!<br />
<br />
But yeah will get back to my routine this week, although I did spy a pretty mean looking set of steps off the track I ran along today...<br />
<br />
Was nice to do a pretty flat run for once too, to get a guage of my time, and always easier when you have someone in front/behind to chase/stay in front of as well, whereas by yourself it is easy to slip into a comfortable pace that probably isnt quite as much as it should be.<br />
<br />
The guy I ran about half of it with is doing 100km Oxfam walk round Taupo, and he has found some great step spots about for me, although a bit further away than my usual -
here?<br />
<br />
We had a light shower today (for 10 seconds) but I have cracks in my lawn big enough for rats to fall down <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> -

I do think it is in part stress (given I have probably done less exercise the past 2 weeks) we have been thinking about selling our place, buying a section and building...fark it sucks just thinking about that sh!t!<br />
<br />
You cant be too far off! -
Struggling to find time to exercise at the moment...<img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> <br />
<br />
Went for a run on Wednesday but that was it this week.<br />
<br />
Spent all day moving shit and cleaning the section (more of same tomorrow) readying it for the influx of potential buyers over the next few weeks, just hope themfuckers next door don't scare any off with their bass music playing! -
Crank out that burpee workout yo!! or walking shoulder press with the boxes as you load the car/truck!<br />
<br />
You've been working hard so you should get by with the odd run or weights session. Clearing the section will be keeping you busy. Exercise will be good for dealing to stress over negotiations etc - plus you will look buff'er when you need to menace the neighbours! -
well it wont be tonight, have someone coming through tonight to look (hopefully a good sign as we only signed up with agent on Thursday) so will need to take kids for a walk as MRs TR is out.<br />
<br />
Weight still dropping...88.6kg this morning, and I eat alot yesterday (inc breads) with a Lamb Roast with Yorkshires for dinner too, and a beer - large part stress, although I was bloody busy all weekend and was hot!! -
88.0kg this morning...<br />
<br />
took the kids for a swim this morning.<br />
<br />
Workout this arternoon;<br />
<br />
Warm up on punch bag<br />
<br />
Deadlifts x 20 (60kg) hammer/tyre x 25 each side, 20 jumping lunges, 25 press ups, 20 ez bar (20kg) planks with hand to wall x 50 = x 3 -
useless buggar returns, hopefully now with the house (all but) sold, a rental in the pipelines and everything else falling into place, I can get my head back in the game!<br />
<br />
87.5kg this morning<br />
<br />
Neutral grip angled pull ups<br />
Unweighted squats<br />
Press ups<br />
Planks - hand to wall (above shoulder height)<br />
Mountain climbers -
Humid as hell out there today!<br />
<br />
warm up on the punch bag, got a decent sweat up right there!!<br />
<br />
100 squats @60kg (25,25,20,15,15 - give or take 5-10 sec rest between sets)<br />
100 dips<br />
100 (ea side) hammer/tyre<br />
150 plank/wall<br />
<br />
pretty well farked after that. -
haha yeah, the stress has impacted me in that I have felt almost like I wanna hurl, so working out or running was not somethign I felt remotely like doing, so was very easy not to.<br />
<br />
Hopefully house goes unconditional on Tues/Wed, we can start looking for a rental while we build and I can start hitting some trails again.<br />
<br />
My weight has stabilised too, even if I am about 2kg under my target (want to stay ~90kg, but sitting under 88 at present, which aint a bad thing)
