@stargazer Geez if he's only been good in patches I'd love to see how good he'd be if he's at his best.

@stargazer TBF bro, you do watch a lot of rugby, so its no shame to admit you've been dozing off during Blues games.

@cgrant Shields and Cane at 6 and 7.

Yes, I can agree with Cane at 7 (though Hunt has been outstanding so far) but not with Shields who was poor in SA. Squire has shown why he is an All Black before his injury.

The form props are currently Aidan Ross and Angus TM. Who would think that these third choice props could be so good ? They won't make the AB but who knows with all the injuries. On the loose head, behind Joe Moody, the gap is huge. Crockett has retired, Perry and DLB are exposed in the scrums, Eves blows hot and cold, Manu is not up to the task, Hames is concussed and Hodgman injured.

@cgrant Alaalatoa is in very good form, too. Eligible from about August-September.

Yes, I agree with you but I was limiting my review to players who are eligible for the June Series. He was impressive vs the Lions, holding his own in the scrums and carrying a lot - and well - in the loose. He is fairly mobile for such a big man.

Is that likely or will the Wallabies inherit a very good prospect?

Mike Alaalatoa re-signed with the Crusaders a few weeks ago. Under contract until the end of the 2020 SR season. So he won't be eligible for the Wallabies and will be eligible for the ABs later this year.

@mariner4life Meh. In two years time, he only got 1 cap when he was at the Tahs. He also played U20s for Samoa, not Australia. And they've poached enough players from us. Time to give one in return.

Agreed BUT that was over here. We had fucking Paddy Ryan and Jeremy Tilse apparently blocking his way, so he probably ditched when he realised it was more about the "who you know" than the "what you do".

The Cantabs tend to make something good out of players, no matter where they're from.

Who is the form Nr.8 now : Akira Ioane or Gareth Evans ? The latter was outstanding vs the Chiefs, beating Sam Cane twice behind the scrum. He's got an impressive speed. Can his ability to play 6, 7 and 8 bring him a call in the AB squad ?
Who is the form right wing : Naholo or Mataele ? I would go for the latter who is a perfect Sivivatu's replica.
Who is the form left wing : Lam or Alaimalo ? Both were impressive on Friday night. I would go for the latter because of his higher workrate.
