@nepia must be next Wednesday. And yes, that means byes this weekend.
Ponga was never nailed on. Slater was always going to be fullback, his best hope was the utility spot, and i guess they have gone with Morgan's experience.
Boo - oh well at least it's a weekend not having to record the Warriors because the idiot NRL put them directly on against the best rugby match of the weekend.
Someone should have told the Fox talking heads that Ponga wasn't nailed on. Wonder if we have a chance to Taumalolo him if he doesn't get selected this year.

Origin maaaate!
All Queensland's big names have retired, while a couple of others have been cut.
How can you write this and then the first name on the list is Billy Slater?!!
Here's a poem for you....
There's no-one Greater
Than Billy Slater! -
yea okay smart ass. And Inglis.
But really, it's the gun halves and hooker that have driven this decade of dominance.
Billy is fullback GOAT though, and somehow still playing really good.
-
Saw the title and thought man people are talking about bathurst or Gold Coast 600 or whatever its called, pretty early this year.
However I must give it respect just like the origin tackles, origin passes and origin kicks that was an origin title.
When you read this picture me standing under the post while the camera circles me and imagine i keep talking for another 10 minutes in a origin monologue.

Ticket sales are very slow for Game 1 at the MCG. 20,000 is the number being floated around at the moment.
well, that's going to have quite the atmosphere isn't it?

Billy has quality and quantity, as far as we know the Fijian dude only has quality?

I can't wait for Phil Goulds pre game wank fest when he sees how many times he can say 'Origin' while using the word as a noun, verb and adjective.
While simultaneously not being able to describe what any of those mean

AND the kid from the Highlanders got caught and sentenced.
Ergo, Billy wins

When's the Sydney game? I have a line on free tickets, but I haven't watched a full origin game since the 00s I think. But, 90s me would have been all over the tickets so maybe I should go for the sake of that young dumb bastard.
Game 2 is at ANZ and it's on a Sunday (24th June)n a rare moment of sense from the NRL

He generally throws a few 'maaaaaaaaatttteeees' in and hopes no one notices.

Damn, I don't want to waste my Sunday, I was hoping just to head out after work. Typical NRL ruining things for me!

Expected NSW 17: James Tedesco, Tom Trbojevic, James Roberts, Latrell Mitchell, Josh Addo-Carr, James Maloney, Nathan Cleary, Reagan Campbell-Gillard, Damien Cook, David Klemmer, Tyson Frizell, Boyd Cordner (c), Jake Trbojevic, Jack de Belin, Paul Vaughan, Tyrone Peachey, Angus Crichton.
If that's the squad it will be a 2-1 win to NSW.
-
And now Billy is out. If NSW can't win this they may as well give it away.
