What is a zoning meeting about?

They used to be a forum for people to whinge about what councils were going to do to their community. Now it seems they a soapbox for insane bitches to whinge about their lives.

The bit that made me laugh was that she was getting divorced. The divorce I understood, but HTF did she find someone to marry her?

@snowy and find someone to spawn with!

I loved the gentle, yet insistent, responses from the chair that this was a zoning meeting... rather than a forum for any and all personal gripes!! Pity it went Woosh over her head.

oh, and loved the facepalm from the guy in the front row behind her. He was struggling not to piss himself as she got into her stride 🙂

@paekakboyz The whole thing was hilarious really. I could have so much fun just showing up at meetings and randomly talking about myself.

@Hooroo summed it up nicely with "What was that?"

@snowy Nice. The butcher will do them for about $17/kg though.

Here's Meat and Livestock Australia's Australian Beef Compendium:

@tim I shall go and visit Mr Stubbs today (although he isn't a Stubbs anymore).

I thought we were getting a bit off topic but actually the Australian Beef Compendium, whilst perhaps not quite awesome, is at least very informative.

Spain's new submarine 'too big for its dock'

The original problem with the submarine dates back to 2013, when it was discovered that it was about 100 tons heavier than it needed to be.

That caused a problem for its buoyancy - so it could submerge, but might not come back up again.

A former Spanish official told the Associated Press at the time that someone had put a decimal point in the wrong place, and "nobody paid attention to review the calculations".That mistake cost a reported €14m while engineers and consultants figured out that buoyancy could be improved by lengthening the boat.
