I expected Canterbury to make a comeback in the 2nd half, but thusfar it's not happening. Ta$man looking good.

Has @Chris-B run on from the sidelines?

@kiwimurph Yeah they've really targetted him in the 2nd hald after he looked untouchable in the 1st half.

    Dead easy! 🙂

A few charity calls for Canterbury at the end to make it respectable.

    Woo hoo!!!

Is that fulltime 25-17? The live scoring thing is slow.

@sammyc First time I've really seen Cameron. Didn't have an auspicious start.

Cool. I think I may have even tipped it in the TSF comp. (chickened out and went for the inbreds in the Superbru one though)

@tim played over 70 minutes. Was good. Made one big break in the first half. Got turnover ball. On the small side but fared well.

One of my earlier posts concerning the too low rank (7th) given to Ta$man for the bets for the Premiership title was right. The Mako$ are going to be hard to beat this year.

@cgrant Mako will need most of their core players to stay fit. Don't think there's not much depth this year beyond the starting XV - especially in the forwards.

Getting Hames and/or Taufua back from injury would help a bit - as would Hansen giving us Frizell (or Perry) to get match play.

On the plus side, my memory is that in the past couple of years we've played Canterbury in the first couple of rounds and picked up plenty of injuries in bruising matches. This year we've probably only lost Fredericks and hopefully not for long.

Ta$man has the best tight five of the competition. I reckon the backups are not so impressive but the likes of Salmon (if fit) and Ainley are no pushovers.
