pull finger Auckland, I understand if they win, Southland 'win' an uneviable NPC record outright off another NPC team...

@steven-harris Hope so. I like the energy he brings and he loves the contact.

@nzzp Rayasi has been fantastic. Any chance of giving Caleb Clarke's Blues contract to him?

28-3, bonus point and that should be the game with 25 to go.

Well done Auckland - have vastly exceeded expectations this year and won games we should have lost. Just need to get up against harbour now - not as easy as it sounds.

Ruru needs to put that inside flick away.

Reckon Graham looking grumpy would do it.

Also, Southland have played better than the scoreline indicates.

I swear every time Broc Hooper touches the ball he kicks it no matter what the situation is in the game.

Gotta give the Southland boys their dues, from what I believe they have no super rugby players, apart from Tony Lamborn who played a couple of games for the Canes ,they have hung in there without looking like they were ever gonna win.
Been really impressed with Selby Rickett he is right up there in the lineout stats throughout the Mitre 10cup..Also wish Nico Costa had stayed in Auckland, has looked really good behind a beaten pack.

@steven-harris They have Matt Johnson, although he didn't actually get on the field for the Blues.

Didn't think we'd see Clarke in at centre this season. He played almost all of his last year of school there, but I don't think he's played there since.

His pops also started out on the wing for Auckland before moving in.

What I like is flat passes in front of players running onto the ball. Surprisingly, it gives people momentum on the advantage line.

@steven-harris At the same time it's good that Costa is playing instead of being stuck behind Ruru and Fukofuka. I liked what Costa bought to the Auckland side towards the end of last season.

Choat just scored a try - generally played well I think
