Classic episode. I love Homers response "Yes, once...." such awesome subtle humour. I'm so pleased the SJWs got rid of Apu though, his racist typecasting was really making me into a bad person and heaven forbid I keep laughing at a brilliant show.

Le Quesnoy is also twinned with Cambridge, who have developed a very strong connection.
There has been a few articles in the Waikato Times because of this connection.
I've been to Ypres for the Menin Gate Last Post ceremony but didn't have a chance to go to Le Quesnoy.

I was at a wreath laying ceremony today at the NZ Memorial at Hyde Park Corner. No fanfare, publicity or press. Just the Governor General and a very small NZDF contingent. Left a wreath. Payed her respects and left. Was quite cool and there were some quite puzzled tourists around that could work out it was something official but it was so low key with minimal security that they were looking like 'surely it's not someone important'.
Was a funny contrast as the Austrian Ambassador had just been escorted past in the horse drawn carriage on the way to present credentials to the Queen followed by the Royal Cavalry who were seemingly out for a ride in full kit. NZ1 just pulls up, GG hops out and walks across the grass.. -
I think Hosking is a dick but he winds up lefties just by existing so this is pleasing

I thought of you and @MN5 a few weeks back when I was having dinner at a Hokitika Indian restaurant, and in walks your best mate John Campbell. In the area for a Pike River story I later found out.
An excellent meal though...

GFYs , because of you I’ve been thinking about whitebait omelettes all day. I though whitebait was wildly overrated till I had an omelette at the lake ferry pub .now I want one

@jegga Whitebait, Crays, Oysters etc are great but they are fucken overrated for the price if you ask me. Work took us on a piss up lunch several months back and my entrée was three oysters which cos TWENTY EIGHT FUCKEN DOLLARS. Needless to say I was not footing the bill...…..

Yeah I remember ordering Mussels in UK one time and getting a plate full of these things that were smaller than most Tua Tuas.

@taniwharugby I'll eat punnet upon punnet of mussels from the Supermarket. Absolutely love them and much better value than other supposedly nicer seafood.

I edited my post I meant oysters. I never tried mussels there but the I do gorge myself in prawns when I go across the ditch , they aren’t full of carcinogens and other crap like the ones they sell here.
