If yours has porn that features Scarlett are you interested in selling it?

We Still Kill the old way – an old fella stops a street gang from raping a young girl and gets killed...only thing is, he is the brother of a former old school Gangster himself, who returns to the UK for a bitof old fashioned revenge.

a few recognisable faces through the movie.

Was odd really, despite some average acting and alot of clichéd stuff in it, I actually liked it!

I'd seen a few of these already, but those I hadnt have proved very enjoyable

I, Origins - bit of a sci fi meets spirituality meets one true love type stuff (I think its called romance). Enjoyable when all signs suggested it shouldnt have been.

The One I Love - loved this movie. A couple go to a retreat and some really fking strange "twilight zone" shit goes down. Evokes alot of really interesting questions around relationships and boundaries.

The Congress - Robin Wright stars as her self. Strong performance from her and Harvey Keitel, and a super trippy 2nd half to the movie.

Honeymoon - a couple on their honeymoon in the middle of nowhere and the hubby starts to suspect his wife isnt the dream he thought she was. Bit of a weak ending, but I really enjoyed the ride.

Finally watched "Enders Game" last night. About as "5-out-of-10" as a movie can get i reckon. I didn't hate it, but then i didn't think it was any good either. Fucking predictable, and the problem with bring a story to life based on a complex child is children are fucking terrible actors, so it falls flat.

I know it's been done to death, but i thought Ben Kingsley was the best English/South African/Australian Maori i have ever seen/heard. Superb blending as i assume accents will get as the world becomes more and more mixed.

I enjoyed that movie because I filled in all the gaps from reading the book.

The book was told from the point of view of Ender, and as you read it you realise he's a nasty piece of work/something is wrong with him. And it's disturbing because he's younger in the book than in the movie.

And the real kicker is when they have the final battle, he thinks it's the last test not a real battle and the adults are horrified when he decides to wipe them out and commits genocide. It's all pretty dark.

Chef - seriously do not watch this movie on an empty stomach. I had just had a huge feed of ribs, churros for desert and sat down to watch this and I still felt hungry all the way through. Decent little movie with Jon Faverau, Scarlett J, and Sofia Vergara looking way hotter than she does on Modern Family.

The Grand Budapest Hotel - I'm sure Wes Anderson's style aren't to everyone's liking but I really enjoyed this film. Ralph Fiennes was good and Adrien Brody wasn't as annoying as usual as to ruin it for me.

yea, i got that (i haven't read the book), but i didn't realise the kid was supposed to be younger. Harrison Ford's character seemed hell bent on wiping them out, did they give him more motivation in the book? Adults didn't seem too horrified in the movie, seemed like a lot of back-slapping going on.

Any movie that needs the book to have it make sense isn't much chop as a movie.

I have only seen the movie and my take on it was that they made Ender out to be manipulated by Ford, not Kirwan's explanation of the book.

I guess hollywood couldn't go the whole way and needed an adult to take the blame.

It felt like whole bits were missing, and didn't get the point of the story.

In the book the adults end up being happy that the war was over but shocked at the choice Ender made. Ford's character in the book was supposed to be manipulating Ender, they were looking for a Napolean with a certain mix of morals to mold. Even before Ender is recruited he near kills a bully to "not win the fight, but all the coming fights". He's a pyscho.

And Nepia, yep the movie failed because of that. I was just explaining why I enjoyed it.

In the sequels it gets worse, the "invasion" ends up being an interspecies misunderstanding and once they realise that individual human units were valued, they wanted to leave humans alone. So the genocide weighed on Ender even more and he becomes a sort of priest "Speaker for the Dead". An awful hippy basically :)

So basically, just read the first book!

I have a much harder time separating the art from the artist these days with so many options of stuff (books to read, TV and movies to watch) so reading Ender's Game is quite far down on my list despite the fact the ideas of it are interesting to me.

How old was Charlize then? She looks quite different. Airbrushed maybe? I would have been very excited if Ashley Judd was also Mighty Nude.

Nepia , Ashley Judds been without clothing in a few films. The best is probably the Marilyn Monroe film , waaaaaay hotter than Charlize has ever been IMHO .

dudes, i just grabbed the first notable that came up in the google image search. Otherwise i would have hunted around for Elle, or that hot chick from Angel, or any one of the multitudes of ridiculous women who have been talked in to this.

Charlize is better with clothes than without i reckon
