    Hopefully

Although with Karl missing we have two TH's on the bench.

@Duluth Big Karl is a loss, no doubt, but I've been watching the Blues' scrum be capable for 50-60 minutes then turn up the heat on people, and it ain't pretty for opponents.

Player of the week last week for me. Simply outstanding in the scrum and around the field

Collins in the 23 scares me. Especially with Tahs bringing Beale off the bench.

Clarke under the high ball could be targeted.

Excellent to see Goodhue back so soon.

Will be very interesting if Big Red can back up his last game with another great performance

....or were we some of just seduced by his beautiful, flowing ginger locks??

I think the plan will be to leave Michael Collins in the Command Module - he need never set foot on the moo... er ground. 🙂

He's had a couple of questionable games on defence too. On the plus side, we have two genuinely fast wingers now

@Duluth And the Tahs do NOT have 2 fast wingers. Newsome is solid but not top pace. Cam Clark is fairly rapid but not Kiwi rapid.

The clash of the blindsides should be alright. Massive ginger versus Dempsey.

Really looking forward to this one.

We're starting to look more like a two-way team. I know our defense has been getting praise, but you can see our attack taking shape too. We're still prone to some errors, but we seem better equipped to deal with that at the moment. Hopefully we keep things rolling.

He's probably come back at the right time too, because our outside backs are starting to be put into space a lot now.

It's our mental resilience that I've been most impressed with. I've watched the replay, and the Stormers got some serious balla gainst us, but we just refused to give in. Was really good to see - we're limited, but working really hard and not giving up. That's a massive win for me 🙂

Well, 5 hours to go and it's been raining steadily all day. Weird as MetService predicted odd showers - but it's been fairly constant. Suspect it coudl be damp all night.

I guess that favours the Tahs? Not sure our set piece is good enough - will take a big effort to roll them here

You'd hope so ... but the rain radar seems to show more rain just appearing. 😐

It's actually way better now where I am. It has stopped raining for the last hour or so and the sun looks like it could break through the clouds soon.

The rain radar shows that most of the rain should be gone from Auckland by kickoff.

Ok so they beat the Crusaders and then beaten by the Sunwolves. What team is going to show up?

At the ground, it's looking good. The investment in drainage clearly paying off... Back in the bad old days it's be a swamp still 😀

Still warm, so expecting a greasy ball but no excuse not to throw it around a bit

About to kick off. Been dry for a couple of hours, here's to a BLUES victory.

Crowd moderate, hope it builds over the next eight minutes 🤔

Someone has taken me too literally, I said a co-commentator LIKE Matt Cooper. Not actually him.

    Mils is close.
