And it is goodnight to Fulham who are being pumped at Vicarige Road. Only one spot remaining to go down and I hope it is Cardiff that goes nigh-nighs.

Man U losing away at Wolves. Young gets second yellow and United just conceded.

2-1 with 13 mins to go

Did Wolves play Man U in the FA cup? (Or was it the Mickey Mouse Cup?) If they win tonight it will be 2 wins and a draw from the three matches they have played against each other this season.

Fans are chanting "Can we play you every Week" Niiiiiice

It took a particular talent to get promoted with an exciting squad, invest multiple millions in strengthening it and get relegated so quickly.

@Hooroo Wolves knocked United out of the FA Cup by the same score only a few weeks ago. Wonder how long it will be before they regret offering Ole the permanent gig? Maybe never but it's a hell of a tough job given how leaky they are - even on Saturday Watford had twice as many shots as United at Old Trafford. Plenty of talent but still need to find a way to dominate games - he's led a charmed life so far as PSG ripped them a new one over 2 legs but threw it away.

Notts County are fighting grimly in a 2 out of 3 go down battle with mighty Yeovil and Macclesfield to stay in the football league. Heard on commentary that Warnock was offered the Chelsea job in the last season before the premier league started (after taking Notts up 2 divisions in a row) and turned it down. Sliding doors moment - if he had accepted, Notts would have multiple titles and a Champions League trophy and Chelsea would be in League 2.

@KiwiPie Utd tried things the other way; experienced Scottish EPL manager who might be able to make the step up in class (Moyes, Fergie Mk2? Nope), the big names with European success (Van Gaal, Mourinho) and no one was able to sort them out. You could argue that they pulled with pin out with LVG a season too early as his teams reputedly take a couple of seasons to see results. Ole is not experienced, but he has the players on side and is a Yanited man through and through. They can get rid of him if it doesn't work, they could do worse

Looking at past 6 games Notts are performing the best but Macclesfield also have Game in hand. How bad is Yeovils Last 6 stretch!!!

I have a soft spot for Macclesfield so also don't want them to go down! (My Flatmate in the UK was from there)

You're analysing it more than I am! We keep having good wins against good teams and then losing to the teams around us.

Son scores for Tottenham. Spurs 1 Man City 0. 5 minutes to go. Is that it for the unbeaten run?

Hell of a result for Spurs! They will be chuffed to bits. Shame about Kane but as he could be out for the rest of season?

His ankle again. Funny thing is they were playing better when he was out injured, Ali Eriksen and Son will step up. Moura is always dangerous, and I don't know where Lamela is. Great result in the new stadium, it looks awesome

1-0 is a great result for Spurs. Get a goal in Manchester and City have to get 3. Son does look a different player without Kane. Missed pen was critical for City - a limp pen by Aguero to be honest.

Good result for Liverpool too, I can't see Porto coming back and expect Liverpool to score at least once.

That was a big win today. Easy fixture to drop points (and I actually expected to). Some small amount of pressure on City now.

Interesting for city they play Tottenham twice in three days. Second leg of the champions league and then the epl fixture. That's going to be high drama as by the end of it they could be through to the semis and top of the league or their season in tatters two points behind and out of European competition.
