Always had a soft spot for Right Next Door to Hell (why don't you write a letter to me).

Obviously Appetite is the gold standard, but there's some underrated tracks on the Illusions discs. Pretty Tied Up is always a good time.

The opening part with the bassline and then all the other instruments coming in before Axl starts singing is great. Always felt the song was a bit of a let down after that tho.

They were from Chicago, but they weren’t Chicago. They wrote & recorded the best Blood Sweat & Tears song that the Al Kooper-less BS&T never did. Great song, almost fifty years old, gets better with age.

Still got it. With Puddles Pity Party who if you haven't heard him has some great covers

Just saw the latest Speights ad and noticed the music they played was this song. See if you can guess why I like the video. Clue: it’s not the bloke.

Not a bad tune. I wish the two main singers would swap outfits though.

An old trope is that the 60s were something that happened in the 70s. Amon Duul II's 1973 album Vive le Trance is a very good argument for it. The previous year's Wolf City was almost better.

Not a bad tune? Did you take the criticism of being too critical far too seriously?

After all the shit you say is crap, you say this is not a bad tune ... Do you want to be taken seriously?

Good set of tits on the singer. That's it.

If I paid attention to criticism I would have stopped posting sometime in late 2006

Cool beat, banging bass line, wicked guitar lick.......I suppose Grace does a decent job singing too.

My boys discovered this in the car and I had to listen to it about a dozen times. It was extremely gratifying seeing them bob their heads in perfect time.

I wonder when's the best time to drop the bombshell that the singer looks like she does and it's not actually a song about cars ?

Sly & Robbie at their finest on the album
