One of the best channels on Sky over here is Sky Arts. They show lots of concerts - its' bloody fantastic. Anywho, they managed to get around 5 hours of Download festival. Unfortunately Tool didn't sign up to it, but there was loads of Def Leppard, Slipknot (they look fucking mental live), a bit of Slayer, Anthrax, Slash amongst others.
I can't find the pro-shot online of the best song they showcased, but it was the below. For me, this is one of those songs that just lifts you up, gives you that inner fizz of nostalgia and adrenaline. I just about smashed up the living room. Fucking love it.
(side note ... Iha looks like a fat Asian Elvis these days .. weird)

Of those not mentioned it's absolutely impossible to separate ( in no particular order ) the opening bangers from Purple Rain, Blood Sugar Sex Magic, One Hot Minute, Deep Purple in Rock, The Real Thing, Angel Dust, Evil Empire, Killers......and a whole bunch of others my frazzled brain can't think of.
A stonkin opening tune can make or break an album.

As a band, I'd say that the Foo's are pretty damn good at deciding opening tracks
This Is A Call, Doll/Monkey Wrench, Stacked Actors, All My Life, In Your Honour, The Pretender, Bridge Burning, Something From Nothing, T-Shirt/Run
Thats a banging collection of tunes.
