That was an awesome try from the new Springbok halfback! What a find; can't remember him from Super Rugby. Which team is he playing for?

    Stormers.

Why do Wallabies persist with thinking DHP is a winger.

Just checked. Hershell Jantjies plays for the Stormers. Hadn't noticed him during SR.

That's a great try from Foley and an even greater offload from Beale!

Again a try from a halback. Reinach secures the bonus point for the Springboks after the hooter!

Full time: South Africa 35 - 17 Australia

Deserved win for the Springboks. Good first half and last ten minutes of the 2nd half. Game of the halfbacks.

Tonight I spotted Rene Naylor, the Springboks' physio, for the first time this year alt text and that pleased me 🤗 immensely. She has been on the job for about a decade, she arrived hot and she has got hotter with each year - I'm guessing she is early 30's. I heard her speak on a video a few years back and I melted.

If I could work this image link thingy properly you would see her instantly and agree, but I'm getting old and past it. You will have to click on the "alt text" text.

Watched some of the game just now as I knew the result.

Boks aren't contesting the breakdown much, just fanning out. Why keep going into channel 2?

Awwwww - well done Jegga. I told yas all, she's gorgeous.

All jet black hair and black eyes that come with the exotic mix from different parts of the world, just like Mrs Mick ... although she is darker coloured than Rene, who is closely similar to her youngest sister, especially with that grand smile.

Thank you for indulging me :face_with_stuck-out_tongue_winking_eye:

@Stargazer it was clearly a stupid move from an idiot with a history of stupid moves.

Even Elton Jantjies appears to have a more measured mindset, as if he is part of a team of fifteen rather than one.

The Aussie's really missed Sio & Alaalatoa. They were doing fine until the scrum started creaking.. then Tupou got binned and it got worse

The loose forward trio is more balanced than recent years. The need a bit more work out of the 6 though

    And a better game plan.

That is only likely under the following circumstances:

    1. change of coach

    2. RWC where Cheika reveals another game plan that he's secretly been hiding all this time

    Lol.

Do you mean to suggest they have been keeping their powder dry? What a ridiculous suggestion!

Now an awesome try for Salakaia-Loto for the Walabies.

Edit: hmmm, try disallowed because the pass from Kerevi was deemed forward. The camera angle wasn't great. Not sure I agree with that decision.

I recorded this game and have just watched it. Kerevi completely butchered that try by not doing a simple draw and pass. There was no need to take the contact and then attempt a miracle one-handed offload. And yes, it was forward.

    Beale needs to start.

Yeah I think they have pretty good cattle available so need a proper gameplan. Although they are still looking for a world class outside back 😎

Boks were pretty loose defensively in that first half with plenty of space around the fringes and some of the Wallaby ball carriers made them pay. White made a difference playing with a bit more purpose.

But once it got past 1st 5 it looked all a bit dour.

    @Bones You see the match?

Last conversion was interesting from our previous discussion about charging conversions early. Jantjes got a second go after the Aussies got up to the ball. Paul Williams could be heard saying to them "He didn't move forward" i.e approach the ball. Glad someone agrees with me, and no we don't need to go into it again!
