I really think Akira Ioane needs to leave Auckland to turn his career.

Pretty sure his motrher is from up north somewhere. L:ooks like you might be hoping he is steered in your direction.

@Crazy-Horse I'm a neutral in this game but have been vocal in not liking TJ as a commentator. He's too pro- Ta$man rather than anti the opponent.

@Bovidae I don't mind TJ. And I don't hear the anti Auckland shit he gets grief for on here.

I agree with the last bit. Still find him annoying though, just like Matt Cooper and esp Ken Laban.

Haven't been able to watch much NPC this year, but you've got to wonder how important Graham Henry's presence was last year. Seems to be needed to get Auckland teams to focus.

Bit like 99 Blues after Henry had left

@Tim With hindsight, Ieremia wasn't the one deserving that coach of the year award, last year.

@Higgins ,your correct his mother is a Wihongi from up home..the only problem is, the way we are playing he will turn up looking like a prop in 2020..lifestyle might just be a little to relaxed up North..I was thinking more along the Canterbury or Wellington route.

The battle for the 10 jersey at the Highlanders is going to be interesting in 2020. I don't think it's a given that Josh Ioane will get all the starts.

Be interesting to see him in a team that's not stacked....

The tight forward battle has been even, Ta$man killed our loosies and backs.
