    Looks good!

Yeah, you’ll be training about - and it might be in your interest to get the rail pass, depending on how many places out of town you’ll go to.

    Probably only one excursion?

    @canefan Great advice: thanks!

7 day pass is 271 nzd. If I recall correctly one way Narita to tokyo was about 50 bucks. Not sure how much inter city travel costs

If you are definitely going to Kanazawa, then the 7 day pass is probably worth it (about 12000 yen one way I think) as you can use it to get around on JR trains. Having said that, it’s probably not much difference.

    Convenience is worth it

@canefan as against the convenience point I was at Tokyo station on Monday and there was a two hour queue to pick up your JR pass. I’d have paid big bucks to avoid that nightmare

Not good. I'm going to get it when I arrive at the airport

Price internal flights, you'd be surprised how much cheaper they can be.

I'm barely leaving Tokyo, I got advice from the NZ agents for JR. He said I was better off getting a suica card at the airport, so that's what I'm going to do

Agree with that advice. If you're basically staying in Tokyo then a JR pass is a gigantic waste of money.

Anybody know of tickets available for ABs semi (whispers it...) and Final?
Official website lists Cat A tickets available for semi, but when I try to add just 1 to “basket”... it claims I've asked for more than what's available.
Presumably resale tickets have to be the entire set of tickets the original holder had?

My folks are on tour with Willement. They said tickets are coming available on the secondary market (sorry can be more specific) as teams go home and their fans want to cash out

@canefan Yeah, they're available on the official site, it just won't let me buy any of them.
Maybe I should get a short contract working for World Rugby IT department... give true credence to the “NZ overly influences World Rugby conspiracies”.

Hey mate, how many tickets do you want? I have a mate in our party who has had to pull the pin at the last minute due to a bereavement. He is looking at his options, so we may have a spare ticket to the NZ SF

@canefan just the 1... but I'm a real prick, and wouldn't wish my company on anybody.

I just put pairs for both back on pool (going with a mate who also had some).

I'm looking for a couple of tickets for the Semi, trying to buy on official website and stuck in the 'number of tickets selected exceeds availability' loop. Help!

Its actually one single ticket now, and you wouldn't even need to sit with us as it is somewhere else in the stadium

@dejo I know I have raised this on another thread but am 50/50 on buying via Stubhub or Viagogo or rocking up to the stadium early on the day.

    Need 2 tickets.
