France tiring horribly here and getting eaten alive up front. If England are patient and take their chances, they can do this.

    14 minutes to go.

Good work by the English finishers. Really stretching the French defence now. Crowd much quieter.

Frog defence is seriously impressive. Edwards has made a big difference

Both teams look really tired. Poms could still nick this though

Eight and half minutes to go. France with a scrum in their own 22.

Ellis Genge and Luke Cowan-Dickie have been excellent since coming on for England.

France's composure when under pressure has been very impressive.

Far fewer errors than French teams of late.

    @Victor-Meldrew

I'm really impressed by the composure of Dupont, the half back, great clearance work.

Their younger players have been impressive - talent coming thru from their U20 teams

Kruis powers over after good work by Farrell. Looks like he was held up. Owens right there. No try.

Boithier, the French 15. Been absolute class today.

Antonie Dupont only 23, plays for Stade Toulousain, behind Jerome Kaino. Looks very good indeed. Huge potential.

Time running out for England here. Only 90 seconds to go. The crowd sing La Marseillaise again.

England have a penalty. Farrell takes it for the losing bonus point. Over.

    France win 24-17.

Brian Moore correct that France won that with their big defensive work before and after half time.

England defence was terrible. Was Moonhead away in a journey?

Nigel was very lenient on England’s professional fouls as well

I was impressed by the French. They sought to bully the English and made sure they took their chances. A bruising encounter in rugby conditions.
