Here’s a crazy thing about what is considered “essential “. Mrs C is getting a sore back in her work at home setup so we tried to buy a Swiss ball for her to use as a seat at her desk.
Made an online order with a company that believed it was within the guidelines as selling items for health and rehab purposes yet got an email from them saying MBIE had told them to cease trading.
Couple of issues here. One, does the government want loads of ACC claims from people being forced to work in non assessed work environments which by H&S laws would normally require the company to provide? Two, why is physical health not essential? If companies can provide home fitness equipment by contactless methods then surely that is helpful to the physical and mental wellbeing of the country?
Seems a bit bureaucratic to draw a line that stops people looking after themselves. That's stupid alright
I phoned the info line to add to those asking for this to be looked at and the guy I spoke to said they had been getting lots of calls. Some people were trying to buy equipment to continue rehab treatments from their physios, stuff like exercise bands but we’re being blocked.
I get that they are trying to not open the floodgates on stuff but this seems a no brainer. Would love to hear the logic behind it. -

@taniwharugby wish I could take some of that off your hands!! We've been planting out a bank down the bottom of our place with flax - dude that is gonna be a fun job!!
Nice work on the weigh in to! Plenty of time to cut further - or work out the kai/effort balance to stay in that zone.
Have done two workouts since Monday. Monday was horrific. Inspired by one of my fav fitness dudes. Especially relevant for us gym/weights lads looking at what we can do without the heavy weights and equipment.
Monday was three rounds of supersets with reps till failure every set. Stuck to a strict 30sec break in between to. It sucked hard!! I was utterly wiped yesterday - like I cooked my CNS after a big deadlift session.
Today was max reps in 30sec through a bunch of supersets. Included burpees so yeah. painful.

@Paekakboyz I need to do something like this to break from running. Would that work out be your recommendation for someone with no equipment to work with?
-
@Paekakboyz yea I might just cut back the stuff by the fence so I can walk down there, as there will be an issue with disposal too...
Circuit with TR Jnr today:
15 burpees, 15 air squats, 15 press ups, 15 sit ups, run 130m
14 burpees, 14 air squats, 14 press ups, 14 air ups, run 130m
13 burpees....you get the picture...finish on the round of 5 of eachTR Jnr certainly getting the better of me, although his technique on burpees and press ups need work.

How do you easily post pics on here? Can they be uploaded to tsf via mobile or need to host elsewhere?
