Very slow 8.5km this morning but I enjoyed it.

Getting creepy now, I also did 8km just now. Another beautiful day here, great to be out. Quite eerie still hearing the birds singing loudly at 10am

If I knew how to share Strava profile we could compare

@mariner4life sounds great, I just hugged the lake in the sun, it's getting cold here. One day next week is forecast to be a high of 6 degrees!
-
Strangly I thought about that quick 10km you did the other day while I was cruising along today. Are you doing that at a bit of altitude as well?
-
@mariner4life the 10km was on the footpath then track back towards Frankton, 5km out and back. So I guess 300m or so of altitude I think we are?
-
@mariner4life I see you got a PR today on the "Blown Ass Gasket" segment...i guess that warrants a congratulations π¬

Cruisy day today. Nice bike ride with the family in the morning, and then a good session on the rower this afternoon. 7.5km at 1:54.6 ... Fastest I've done for a while, felt good despite old man knees being achey yesterday.
Now I'm into beers. Fat, fit, happy, my Olympic motto

That's a really good pace for that distance! π

@voodoo cheers, was pretty happy with it. Normally I cruise around 1:57 or 59 depending on distance and how much I've done recently.
Then of course today started with this
and finished with this (Caramelised pears, tarragon and cream, pork eye fillet)

no run today, went for a walk up Mt Whitfield, which has great tracks all over it. Basically like climbing the Mount on the steep side. All steps! Nice change
Same same almost, we did the QT trail walk, beautiful morning here with early snow on the hills
What is this "snow" to speak of?

Nice one! Have to say, I've never understood people who run/walk dogs around golf courses (when they are being actively played I mean). Just asking for a ball to the back of the scone!
Yeah at the moment is pretty quiet. Just a few dog walkers really.
As a golfer myself, running around the course is actually pretty interesting going tee to green and by staying on the fairway I often see parts of the course I donβt usually see when playing
What's a fairway?
The bits between where my ball lands.

I wasnt feeling it today, I did trim my neighbours hedge on his driveway today (holding the 10kg trimmer at shoulder height and above for an hour) as he could be in our bubble, he has not been anywhere since lockdown...although social distancing still maintained...I then took the dog for a walk and had a chat to a couple of other neighbours along the way, both of whom I know are not working...which for one I'd have expected them to be a bit more stressed as they had bought a house 4 weeks ago (is 200m up the road) and thier one only went unconditional on Monday.
I did 'hole out' (into a cone on the full) one of my 30m pitch shots today though, and come close plemty of times, so maybe I might be good at this game!
I feel like I need to go for a run, although I loathe road running and road running is pretty much all I got (outside of the treadmill) or going cross country on peoples farms is my other option...
