Covid-19 and keeping fit

Best shot in my bag is the 3 iron punch off the back foot from under a tree..
ooo yes ... or if nothing too much up front, I find the 3 rescue a better option.
I especially love it when I nail it and it lands on the green ... then bounces through it and either
- Rolls for another 80-90 yards
- Goes headlong into a bunker
- Bounces sweetly into a water hazard
-
Very slow 8.5km this morning but I enjoyed it.

Getting creepy now, I also did 8km just now. Another beautiful day here, great to be out. Quite eerie still hearing the birds singing loudly at 10am

If I knew how to share Strava profile we could compare

@mariner4life sounds great, I just hugged the lake in the sun, it's getting cold here. One day next week is forecast to be a high of 6 degrees!
-
Strangly I thought about that quick 10km you did the other day while I was cruising along today. Are you doing that at a bit of altitude as well?
-
@mariner4life the 10km was on the footpath then track back towards Frankton, 5km out and back. So I guess 300m or so of altitude I think we are?
-
@mariner4life I see you got a PR today on the "Blown Ass Gasket" segment...i guess that warrants a congratulations 😬

Cruisy day today. Nice bike ride with the family in the morning, and then a good session on the rower this afternoon. 7.5km at 1:54.6 ... Fastest I've done for a while, felt good despite old man knees being achey yesterday.
Now I'm into beers. Fat, fit, happy, my Olympic motto

That's a really good pace for that distance! 👍

@voodoo cheers, was pretty happy with it. Normally I cruise around 1:57 or 59 depending on distance and how much I've done recently.
Then of course today started with this
and finished with this (Caramelised pears, tarragon and cream, pork eye fillet)
