The Breakers look a shadow of their former selves, getting pumped by Townsville

On paper they still look a good team but they are playing sloppy right now. Not sure if they've tuned Vickerman out, the timing of the announcement for new coach next season felt odd

The Crocs were supposedly the easier of these 2 games. I can't see the Breakers beating M4L's mob either.

um, in case you haven't noticed, we're a bit shit at the moment (and by moment, i mean this season). We're certainly not going to win by blowing you away and scoring 85.

Breakers are doing their best to choke their current game away. They are just not playing smart at the moment and their foul shooting is appalling

Another choking display by the Breakers. Up 25 at the start of the 4th quarter needing to win by 15 to win the season tie breaker vs Adelaide, which could be crucial in deciding who makes the playoffs, 4 minutes to go and they've pissed away most of it to lead by only 11 with 4 minutes to go. Typical of their late season form

The game is over and the NZB managed to pull their finger out for a 22 point win. This may be huge if the playoff race continues to be tight

Cedric had a big game. If only he could make his FTs. Looking at the box score they kept Ere quiet.

So the Breakers are alive for another round. They now need Cairns to do them a favour before beating the Taipans on the weekend.

The 36ers best player may not make it back before the playoffs, and they have a tough run in. Here's hoping

The Taipans did the Breakers a big favour by beating the 36ers. Now the Breakers need to beat Cairns in Auckland on Sunday to move ahead of the 36ers into 4th. The home and away series with Melbourne to end the regular season will be tough. Winning the home game will be essential but beating them on their homecourt might not be required depending on the 36ers results with Illawarra and Perth.

If the Breakers can't win both home games they don't deserve to make the playoffs.

So far, so good for the Breakers. A win over the Taipans moves them into 4th. A big game vs Melbourne on Friday.

Well after a disastrous 2 months of playing kak ball, we get a couple of big must win games.

So 36ers have 2 games left both away from home and against sides (Hawks, Wildcats) that are securely locked into the playoffs. Last I heard they were hoping to get 'Handles' back for the Perth game.

We have a home and away spilt with United, the other team locked into the playoffs. Big week of NBL coming

An easy 37-pt win for the Breakers over an understrength Melbourne team. Now they wait and hope Illawarra takes care of Adelaide at home.

Both Perth and Melbourne have rested a number of starters in this round, with Perth effectively conceding 1st place to Melbourne and avoiding a potential trip to Auckland in the playoffs.

For Breakers fans so far so good. The Hawks are up by 10 over Adelaide

HT and Hawks still up and playing well. 36ers also playing well but have had little answer for the Hawks offence.

Handles relatively quiet but he has been big in the 2nd half of games. I'm still nervous....

4:55 to go in the 4th and Hawks up by 21. We are safe.

The big question now is what do both coaches do in the game tomorrow? With the quirks of the draw the Breakers and Melbourne will be playing eachother at least 4 games in a row. Vickerman may choose to rest a few starters in Melbourne and give the bench players extended minutes. Either way, both coaches will want to keep their powder dry.
