8 days into detox & I can't stop thinking about a few things which I know I cannot touch for a couple of months. Am just curious as to what other people taking part in detox 2007 are craving.

1. Pizza
2. Werthers Originals

Obviously, beer is on there as well, but like most fern folk, i'd say that goes without saying....

I know the wise idea is to allow yourself one day a week where you can eat crap, but I don't think I can do that!!

the one day thing is good - you end up not really using it, as your cravings DO stop, but at the start, rip into it when you can!!

    Rum with coke
Quarter Pounders
Swiss Cheese Pretzels (the big ones)
Any form of flavoured milk

Those are the main ones. Giving up rum is fairly easy as I don't get to the pub that often and rarely to the bottle-o, but the quarter pounders sometimes slip into calculations :shifty: Whenever I feel like one I grab a Teriyaki Chicken roll instead. Mmmmm... seaweed, rice, chicken, wasabi, and soy....

You've got to come to Clonakilty. Home of the best black pudding in the world, a registered European speciality food, and there's even a Waikato jersey up in the local rugby pub. Could we do more for you?

Blue cheese, biltong and coffee for me.

Fuck it, Clonakilty would probably host a scrum guru for a couple of sessions in September. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Not lads who're noticeably averse to getting down and dirty. Great seafood, too. I got a pic of the jersey, will try to get it off the phone and PM it to you.

Seafood, scrummaging and black pudding? No wonder everyone wishes they where Irish. Mind you with my red beard and appetite for Guinness, I do look the part.Â

Yeah Mickster: The sweet chilli octopus (sometimes they do it as pepper octopus) and chicken kapitan from the Malaysian joint downstairs at the Hunter Connection food court here in Sydney. Or the Nasi Lemak.

Thanks im good 😁..the one in owera that closed down had a bad reputation anyway. It was attacked by some looney who smeared himself in human waste and broke in.He then made a hell of a mess inside, covering most of the inside with human shit.Apparently the cops who came inside and found him werent feeling too good afterwards. So probably a good thing its lease ran out when it did.KFC is bad for ya and you often feel sickly after eating it but damn it there are times when nothing else will hit the spot.

Again, not new. What I'm getting at is - almost anyone who's worked in any role around food preparation or processing has a few stories that could put people off almost all food if aggregated and taken seriously. In my case I could scare people about dairy products, mates who have worked in the buthery department at the supermarket equally could put people off meat for life with their stories...
