@R-L Age before beauty huh.

@R-L said in UFOs:
seen a few zigzaggy tiny lights out there in the night sky and most likely a satellite...
Yes most likely satellite, although they don't zigzag as a rule - so that is peroxide or gin.
Did see a very odd shape sort of "hanging" in the sky over Alaska. All the crew saw it, so it wasn't the drugs. It was also very adjacent to Elmendorf AFB so probably military. Maybe a met balloon.
I worked with Bob Guard, one of the guys that was flying for Safe air in 1978 when this happened:
1970s
Main article: Kaikoura lights
The 21 December 1978 incident in the Kaikoura area attracted media attention throughout New Zealand and Australia. The crew of a cargo plane reported strange lights over the Kaikoura Ranges and a Wellington radar team reported inexplicable readings. these were filmed by a news crew over several nights.Actual article here:

Cheers for finding that @Snowy

@Virgil Safe Air over Kaikoura. See my post. Even had the RNZAF investigate.
I’ve read about it a few times over the years. Definitely NZ’s biggest contribution to the world of UFO conspiracies.
Trouble is for every compelling case like that are crackpots and fake reports where someone throws a pot lid into the sky and takes a picture of it. -
so that is peroxide or gin.
Nil Gin. 😔
Love it, can't imagine what that must have been like to see, not sure I'd tell people. Who am I kidding I'd be straight on here..
Two women in our office said they'd seen a small figure hobble across a motorway one night covered in something like a blanket, sounded like ET the way they described it, had a large bulbous forehead and had to slow down as it got to the other side of the motorway and disappeared into bushes. One got really pissed off with the other one for telling us, which made it seem even more genuine. They definitely saw something that they were convinced wasn't human and were embarrassed to talk about it.

Sounds like a local on the way home from the pub.

@Crucial funnily enough the spot where they described it isn't far from a field the circus often set up in once a year... Alas the circus were not in town so carny folk out the equation...
Hate the circus. -
speaking of pubs - my brother and I walked out of my Ealing local decades ago and saw strange lights in the sky, hovering and then shooting off into the distance really fast. Way faster than a plane.
This was not a case of the booze. We definitely saw what we saw.
Unfortunately, once we realised that there was a concert on at Wembley, we also realised - they weren't U, they weren't F, or indeed O.
So let down were we, we simply had to go back for another ale to cleanse our disappointment

we are in a simulation anyways so why not aliens I reckon!
