Lockdown/Covid Check In

Ok, I have fully made a hash brown of that story! Just got a text back from him.
"Left invers 05:15 stopped in Amberly for lunch 1 hour drinking beer in Blenheim 15:00 plus fuel stops along the way my bike only has a range of a bout 160 ks when your sitting on 160ks so yeah she was a quick trip"
If I remember correctly he has a MT01 (Is that Yamaha??) They stayed in 'Nam for the night as one of them was picking up a new bike.

Yep. They are 1600cc or something ridiculous, and yeah at 160k that sounds about right time wise. Actual "wise" is a different matter.
He's from Southland, you have to cut them some slack.....
… I also pity the thing he runs into at the speed as he's a big unit!

We think what's happened is people who normally went to, say Benidorm, chose Cornwall.
But they didn't realise the Sth coast is very different to the North coast places like Newquay which would have been a far better choice for them.
Heading up Port Isaac way next Friday...
Well you'll obviously be travelling through Devon. Look out for the overhead motorway signs. One bright one a couple of weeks ago during a very busy time read "Welcome to Devon. Free beer in Cornwall".
Came today via Exeter turning west off M5.
Yet to find the free beer?!
It should be available in Cornwall but if not keep going. Definitely free in the US but probably shit. Sorry, best I can do. None in Devon though. None.
Coming back from Tintagel we decided to take small road closest to coast in hope we could find a pub near a beach on the balcony of which to watch the sun setting.
Amazingly we found the one and same at Port William. And a St. Austell’s one at that!
But would you believe that because the wireless/accounting systems had gone down they wouldn’t let anyone in who hadn’t booked the day before?
We offered to pay cash, but to no avail.
Lovely spot, but would have been perfect sipping a pint of Tribute!

@pakman BTW did you visit Boscastle when you weee in the area? Worth a little time.
We did. Very nice spot. Walked up to the cliff overlooking harbour and got the epic sea view.
Cornish ice cream (of course)!

in my late teens I had the top grown out to about 8-10 inches, bare clipper undercut, even had it frosted, fuck I looked good...except when I look back at the pics now I think, WTF, how did I ever get girls at school!
The undercut ponytail seems to have made an unwanted comeback by the looks of things. That and any other god awful variation on the manbun has me strolling round Wellington shaking my head like the grumpy old prick that I am.
The mood isn’t helped by my boys and the other half deciding to sit and count the greys in my beard over brekky the other day.

My longest is Queenstown to Te Awamutu (roughly 1400 kms), but that had a ferry ride too.
In one drive, stopping only for gas etc., I did Hiroshima to Tokyo in about 7 and a half hours. It was my last day at a job I hated, I said good bye at exactly 5pm, and booted it to the ex-gf gt12's to get in bed at about 12:45am (that includes parking and a shower).

@SynicBast thanks for sharing bro. Your experiences no doubt will help prepare your daughters for whatever lies ahead in their lives. Kia kaha.

Cute nickname. What was his/her real name?
Did you just assume only 2 genders?
