You have to love Pakistan and the remonstrating between bowlers and fielders. Fun to watch.

Yeah, they always look like they are furious with each other.

Good to see the likes of Chapman contribute. He rotated the strike with Seifert and then was more aggressive when Seifert went out. Perhaps Kuggeleijn's best bowling performance too.

So only the first one was on TB1? I've got Spark but thought that they were all FTA for this series.

Haven't actually seen the first T20 because Toni bloody Street came out with the result in the build up to the Americas Cup.

Any TV people reading this - DON'T BLOODY MENTION RESULTS OF OTHER SPORTS! I AM WATCHING THE CURRENT SPORT AND DON'T NEED YOU TO RUIN THE OTHER SPORTS! Plonkers.

It is not always possible to watch chronologically because other people want to watch other things. Pissed me off. Was going to be Americas cup then cricket. Didn't bother once Street had fucked it for me. GOM.

I don't even read the fern if I have something recorded.

Preach brother! As a long time recorder of nba playoffs in particular, I've got a long list of people fucking it for me. From randoms at work who don't even watch but think it's cool to talk about in the kitchen, to "news" being broadcast in elevators. The worst was having Joel fucking Madden ruin a finals game result while I sat through The Voice waiting for the wife to go to bed so I could start watching!

Oh I do. First thing friends, family, staff say to to me is " have you watched the (insert sport here)".

Answer is no - they STFU.
Answer is yes - some sort of civilised discussion may ensue. Depending on who they support.
Otherwise it can go down the STFU track like their previous experiences if they don't adhere to the rules in the initial question.

Even a "you will enjoy it" response pisses me off. Everybody knows who I support and I don't enjoy losing. Not hard to work out a result from that.

Give me the names. I have Chianti in the cellar and someone here was going to send fresh fava beans @crucial I think.

Duffy deserved that, magnificent effort. Fingernail brush.

Being picky as he was on debut and wanting to make an impression and all, but would have liked to see him own up to it. Would have impressed me even more than if he had completed the catch.

First on the list - Canon Bob Lowe.

I can't even remember what it was or when he blurted it out, just that he did.

Probably an AB test result in the days when any coverage was delayed.

I think you might be too late to get him, though!

    My ex-girlfriend.
We were in Colombia during RWC 2007, and expected to see the game on TV, as the other QF was listed in the schedule. But - not to be. Instead, the next day, we'd rocked up to an internet cafe, where I was going to find the game on radiosport - as you could listen to "delayed" back then... I'd just found the game, started to listen - and the GF was obviously checking newspapers, seen some headline, and said something like "Oh, I guess it was a good thing we didn't watch the game".
In hindsight - I guess I should be thankful rather than furious... I've still never seen/heard that game.

@Kruse No wonder she is an ex.

I am training my wife to turn off the radio in the car when the sports news comes on in case I don't know a result. It's just better for everybody that way.

    1. Fuck. I was at the game. It has damaged me for life. Never, ever watch it.
That actually is true, my love of rugby diminished a lot that day. Thanks Wayne. He had actually given the result to me at half time and I mentioned it to all around me.

    I had 2 occasions...

    SA v AB, J'burg 1997.

Had been at a mates 21st in Auckland, plan was to stay up and watch, alas, beer and tiredness won...anywhoo, in morning, mates grandfather after being told we didnt want to know, was like, great 2nd half!

So get home, watch it, down 23-19 at half time, and IIRC we were down 30-19 at one point...fluffybunny

Othertime, 27 August 2005 v SA in Carisbrook, TR Jnr being stubborn and not being born on time, watching on delay at the hospital, Mrs TR tells the nurses I was watching and didnt want to know the score, one of them very loudly announces, its ok, he will be happy, we were down at that point..little buggar then didnt venture into the world until 30th.

Miss TR was born on night of an AB test, v Samoa in New PLymouth 2008 so result was never in doubt that night...was cool though as NZR & Adidas were doing a 'birthright' promotion, and got an INfant AB jersey after i sent a copy of her birth cert to them, is still in the special little box it came in

Or "its a great game" will kill it 😡😡😡. So when one team gets ahead you fucking know the other team will come back.

    Just. Shut. The. Fuck. Up!!!

I’m enjoying listening to Hafeez, seems to have a really good cricket brain on him.
