    @mariner4life Nice!

    I havent seen how many I can do, but when I do 5 sets of 7, the 1st 2 sets I do without a resistance band.

    Such an awesome exercise!

    with 7 days of the challenge left, i have managed to stuff my back doing deadlifts. So no training until at least Saturday i reckon. Hardly ideal.

    getting old really does absolutely fucking suck.

    it won't seem like much to some, but

    i did 8 wide grip pull ups this morning. full extension, slow tempo. i was pretty stoked. only 5 in the next set after a rest. and then 3. and then i had the bands for some assistance.

    to show how much easier they are, i did 12 under-hand pull ups on Tuesday.

    Careful of the tendonitis with pull ups, THAT fucken sux when you get that. I had to battle through a set recently cos the other half was watching. I only get it with pull ups as opposed to chins for some reason and only in my weaker ( right ) arm. Deep Heat and a bit of rest seem to fix it though.

    I haven't see a number beginning with 7 on my scales for decades. You must be single digit fat percentage?

    Reminds me I should get a dexa scan.

    Yeah beginning of 7th form for me back in 1994. I think I hit 80kg first year out of school, worst period was cracking 110kg in London.

    it's been the better part of 2 decades for me as well. Weird considering there was a 9 at the front for most of those.

    My fat percentage was 18% at the start of this, at 84.5kg. Be interesting to see what it is now.

    I remember going to the weigh-ins for school boxing registration as a 3rd former, and being told that I was 81kgs so in with the heavyweights....

    I promptly withdraw from the tournament

    Yeah, it doesn't sound right as I read it, in thinking that through I must have been in 5th form not 3rd. I have always been heavy though, if I got to 93kgs now I'd have a 6 pack.

    I’m just talking about next workout, he’ll take a few days to recover from the pull ups I’m sure.

    Mind you does 10 even count at his weight ?
